This is our go to spot in the city for great steak. This last time we visited this steak house I got broiled New York strip and my wife got the pistachio crusted flounder. My steak came out perfect and the fish my wife ordered was delicious as well. Drinks are strong and beer is cold. Great spot for dinner. Service as always was very good. Our waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant has a large dinning room with a good size bar
We had a Corporate dinner here with Ownership flipping the bill, so I don't know how much this would have cost. But I would have payed it anyway, the way everything tasted. First let Me tell You that this place is worth the 5 stars! Great atmosphere and great staff. Everyone was courteous and friendly. I would recommend trying Wildfire if You are Downtown and enjoy Steak, Chops or Seafood. P.S. don't forget to Dessert.
We were celebrating a birthday. We were seated right away at a booth. The restaurant was not over crowded, but had a nice amount of guest. Our server was the best he kept checking in to make sure everything was OK, he didn't over do it like some servers do his timing was always perfect. The food was delicious. The birthday boy had the blue cheese cursted porterhouse steak with mashed potatoes and he loved it. The drinks were perfect. The decor was perfect for the holiday season.
Always delicious food at Wildfire. I definitely recommend their seafood selection as I have never gotten anything I dislike. The cod is my favorite pictured. Our server, Phillip, was also very knowledgeable about the menu and very friendly and attentive. He made us feel very welcomed. Portions are a good size too based on prices.
First time here to celebrate a college friend's birthday. Overall, my cocktail the Spa Day, the mushroom crusted Pork Chops, and, the creamed spinach, and the French onion soup- were all tasty. I was only able to finish one of my pork Chops and took the other home for leftovers. The reason I deducted a star from my review due to a few reasons, could have just been bad convenience- however, one of the chicken sandwiches ordered came out still slightly pink, an ordered drink was accidentally spilled on the person who ordered it at our table, and some additional drinks that were ordered had never come out.
We went here for my Godson's Graduation dinner. We were waiting for about 45 mins for our food and they forgot to put my nephew's appetizer order in. The waitress recommended the temperature of steak for me to get medium well and it came out completely red. Everyone else seemed to liked the taste of their meals: Lemon Chicken Breast, Filet Mignon, Pork Chops and Steak Medallions. We also had broccoli, asparagus and mushroom caps but I didn't get pictures of those. The waitress never brought me a soda refill and she was not attentive to our table. We had to keep asking other waiters for help. Overall, not a great experience.
I recently dined at Wildfire and was thoroughly impressed by the upscale atmosphere, delicious food, and excellent service. To begin, the restaurant itself is beautiful and spacious, with a polished interior that exudes sophistication and style. The open kitchen adds to the lively atmosphere, and the energy of the restaurant is electric. For our appetizer, we ordered the copped salad and were blown away by the freshness and flavor of the ingredients. The greens were crisp and the dressing perfectly balanced, making for a tasty and satisfying start to our meal. For our entrees, we ordered scallops, ribeye, and prime rib, and each dish was a true standout. The scallops were perfectly seared and served with a delectable sauce that complemented the delicate flavors of the seafood. The ribeye was cooked to perfection and had a juicy, savory taste that was simply divine. And the prime rib was tender and flavorful, with a rich, hearty flavor that left us completely satisfied. But the most impressive aspect of our dining experience at Wildfire was the service. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that our every need was met. The servers were knowledgeable about the menu and wine selection, and they made excellent recommendations that enhanced our dining experience. Overall, Wildfire is a top-notch restaurant that exceeded all my expectations. From the upscale atmosphere to the delicious food and excellent service, it's clear that this is a top-notch establishment. I highly recommend Wildfire to anyone looking for a special dining experience, and I can't wait to return.
The room and service are excellent. The staff are attentive and kind and know their food. The porterhouse was cooked to temp but was lacking - soft soggy crust and an overly sweet paprika flavor. My preference is strong salt and black pepper so that was a mismatch.Food: 4/5
My daughter took me out to celebrate my birthday. Kenny, our waiter, was a perfect gentleman. The food was cooked to perfection and delicious. I loved the onion dinner rolls and my chocolate chocolate birthday cake, too! They also offered valet parking, so there was no need to find our own park. It was Restaurant Week; they offered great dinner prices and selections as well.
We are from Southwest Missouri came up to Chicago for the enthronement of the new bishop to the Orthodox Church in the Midwest and afterwards there was a banquet at this restaurant. The food was far above and beyond anything I could have imagined it being! And the wait staff was very friendly and very quick on my feet to take care of any and all of our needs! Overall it was a very good experience! I would definitely eat her again if I'm ever in chicago!
