Pretty good. I hadn't had Long John Silver's in a while since this is one of the last ones left in the Chicago area. The food was good and pretty much matches what I remember. That is saying a lot these days with most fast food quality dropping drastically.
Other than the dining room being closed, the service was great. We had to drive 45 minutes to get here and it was well worth it.Food: 5/5
Food is really good yet they advertise delivery & online ordering but never can make a order for delivery as they have Taco Bell on Uber eats yet neglect to put long John up.

Love this place. Gotta savor them while you can as there are only 2 left in the Chicagoland areaexcluding the Downers Grove location one here and one in Matteson IL. I'm saddened that the ones on the south side of Chicago didn't last over the years. I used to go to the one on Stony island all the time as well as the one on Ashland and Marquette. The 79th Damen one was there for a very short time. Food is still good especially the chicken, the fish is delicious and the shrimp is amazing. I hope they don't go out of business anytime soon because they are a really good franchise

This location offers multiple choices Chicken, Popeye's Mexican Taco Bell or Long John Silver's fish - So ~ a little bit for everyone. The drive up service was superb, and food was hot & fresh - I ordered from Long John Silver's menu : There is often a.line for Popeye's . Be sure to check the signage or ask about specials: A substantial discount often exists- if you ask .
