I needed a DVT blood clot ultrasound done urgently and they provided me with same day booking! I was stressed about getting this done and it left me baffled how simple the process was with their staff!nnTheir receptionist Barbara was warm and kind. She welcomed me with positive energy that was infectious, and I felt far less nervous. I’d shown up early by about -30 minutes and took a smoke break on the patio - which had an awesome view.nnI met with Ultrasound Specialist Ra, an intelligent and empathetic professional who was precise, efficient, and knowledgeable! I find myself feeling quite confused with my health appointments, but I left Whitby Health Center with complete understanding of what was happening in my body! It was refreshing. Ra finished the examination quickly, and we spoke about health coverage, OHIP, and health in general - which he is also extremely proficient in! I had a great time learning and discussing.nnI have some elders in my family, one of whom stays within the retirement home building, who needed scans done as well. I approached Barbara after my appointment to inquire about this. Within 5 minutes, we had gotten an X-ray appointment for my grand uncle and additional Vascular Doppler imaging as well.nnThis is the one time I can truly say I’ve really enjoyed visiting for a medical appointment! It’s an extensive public facility and the Health Clinic is much larger than typical. Considering the size of the building, I’ve put some photos to assist with navigating to Whitby Health Center.nnIt’s impossible to go wrong trusting these professionals with your health needs.
I appreciate the online booking feature. I was scheduled very quickly with a prompt phone call confirming my appointment. The gentleman at the front desk was professional and courteous and the X-ray was extremely efficient and the appointment was on time.
I’m so glad that I found this diagnostic clinic which is accessible to my place. I was able to book an appointment in just few days to wait. The staff have an excellent approach towards their patient. Their receptionist Barbara is so friendly and makes you comfortable while you wait and the clinic can easily be located.
I wish I could give 0 stars. Reports were wrongly written and they still want to argue with the patient instead of apologizing. Please avoid this office just to save yourself from going through this stressful situation especially if you are pregnant.
I was getting lost trying to locate the entrance for the office, I gave the front desk a call, and spoke with Barbara and she kindly gave me directions from other reviews, I believe her name is Barbara. She was so kind in assisting me and very professional once I arrived. It is hard to come by kind front desk employees now a days, so Barbara will always stay on my mind. Thank you very much.
