A little treasured spot in the heart of downtown. Wonderful service by knowledgeable staff in a comfy setting. And they have a loyalty program! If they don't have a book they will happily order it. Love this store!

This is the best bookstore in Fredericton for new books (because Owl's Nest is just as amazing, but for used books! 😉). I've been buying books here all my life, and even if my intentions were "just to see what new local or Canadian fiction there was," I don't think I've ever left the store without at least one book. 😄 Everyone there is so nice and helpful - one time, I was looking around, and my mom went in a few days later and asked what section and specific books I was looking at (so they remembered who I was and what I skimmed through) and they found her the perfect book for me! I just love Westminster Books.

I love this place! There is definitely something to be said about local hometown service vs a big box store. The staff are warm, helpful and knowledgeable. The selection is great and if you don't see what you want, they will happily order it for you. They also have a loyalty program - Yay! Free books! If you love books then don't hesitate to visit this fantastic bookstore!
