Established in 1975, Tony's Music Box Ltd. is a family owned and operated retail music store.

Story

Tony's Music Box Ltd. is a family owned and operated retail music store which was established in 1975. Tony's has earned the reputation for providing a very friendly environment and a staff that is very honest and knowledgeable. We pride ourselves on premium customer service. We represent a wide variety of quality product lines for many instrument and audio categories including a large selection of instructional and songbook material. We provide rentals and in-store repairs for guitars and other stringed instruments.

Tony George opened Tony's Music Box Ltd. in 1975, along side his wife Rosemarie (who managed all office duties). They worked as a team until her illness in 1998, which resulted in her passing in 2002. Although Tony has stepped down over the past few years, he always loved going to work, dealing with the public and suppliers alike. Providing musicians with their needs and seeing the enjoyment they received from participating in music gave him great pleasure.

Friendly staff and excellent gear. Just like I remember it. The epitome of the best reasons to buy local. Community and making you, the customer feel like more than just someone to make money from. I purchased one of their electric drum kits and look forward to going back when I have a bigger place where I can have an acoustic set. Knowledgeable beyond belief, you'll have a great time at Tony's whether your a musician or not.
Absolutely stellar service. We were secretly buying a piano for my mother for Christmas and Michael the owner set aside time to speak to me, both over the phone and in person, to guide me through what I needed, what my options were, and helped me work within my budget. They were wonderful and helped me make this Christmas one for the books for my mother.
Fantastic locally owned and operated music store in downtown Fredericton right across from city hall. Nice selection of pianos, keyboards, guitars, amps and percussion. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable! They gave us tourists some great suggestions about live local music in town tonight and Jim enjoyed talking shop with their repair tech Dave who seemed extremely good at his job! Love seeing local businesses thriving!

This is a playground for musicians! Nice guys and good technicians. They adjusted my guitar this year for a fair cost.

Very good the selection of Stratocasters and telecators were very limited. However the shop keep said they were having difficulties getting them in. Very nice friendly staff members.
Great place! One of the employees really helped me decipher what I'd need for my first electric guitar and offered really genuine advice based on a very profound knowledge of the amazing products they sell. Excellent prices, products, service and atmosphere. Truly a gem of Fredericton and the Maritime music scene!
I went to Tony's to buy a new guitar for my husband. I don't know a lot about guitars but Austin and the rest of the staff were incredibly helpful. We ended up having to order a guitar that fit our needs and the experience was so easy. I felt like I was a valued customer and was made completely comfortable every time I went to the store. To top it off my husband LOVES his new Alvarez! We will be back when our son picks up his first instrument!
