"Western Sky Books is a New and Used Bookstore, located in Port Coquitlam, BC Tri-Cities, British Columbia. We have a full range of fiction and non fiction books in all subject areas, with specific attention to local writers, Canadian writers, and Indigenous writers. We have a fully stocked and vibrant children's book area. Western Sky Books hosts frequent events, including book launches, readings and signings, Words in the Burbs, and Tri-Cities Poetry Open Mic. We have an art gallery which hosts local artists in solo and group exhibits."

lovely and friendly staff, not overbearing but also very helpful. the cutest, quaintest bookstore in poco. i love the vibe of this place and they have a great selection of new & used books at reasonable prices. great place if you're looking to get a cute and unique gift as they often have jewelry, candles, stickers, notebooks, reading accessories and more by the till to check out. definitely recommend coming here if you're looking for something a little different than the typical big book store

What a great store! Lots of great books new and used, eager & friendly staff, and a great atmosphere i love the smell of books that permeates the store. On top of that, the owner is a pillar of the community who is active in promoting local authors I bought a signed book there. Highly recommended!
My favorite local and independently owned bookstore. Lots of selection on used and new books plus a lot of local authors and indigenous authors too! Knowledgeable and friendly staff. This is a hidden gem for book lovers!
They have so many books and some for great prices. The staff was so nice and helpful. I will definitely be coming back for more future reads.

The selection of books is diverse and includes many recent award-winners. I was impressed with the immaculate condition of the books I purchased. The staff are knowledgeable and go out of their way to be helpful. I've also purchased some unique gift items, created by local artists.
A bit tricky to get to. It's kinda in the alley beside Safeway. Lots of great used books, and a few interesting knickknacks like cat tarot cards. Friendly staff who know their books.
