Large Chapters location with a lot of board games, stationary, children’s toys and other products aside from books. It was very busy when I went in the afternoon the week before Christmas. Line up was quite long but line was moving quickly. There is a discounted items section at the back of the store.
I have never been in a worse bookstore and I have been in quite a few. Coming in it felt like I was going into a gift shop. Really difficult to find books. Couldn't find anyone to help me so I went to the checkout counter. He advised me that they had 3 copies of the book I wanted and to look in the nature section. I was unable to find the book but I did find a fellow customer who also couldn't find the book she wanted. We both left the store. Me, never to return again.
Always my favorite Chapters / Indigo to go to. Today I went in and everything had to be done manually because of a outage they have been experiencing. No website access to check books etc. Despite it all the staff were very friendly, apologetic even though it was no fault of their own. A slight delay in payment and checking out of course but in all a great experience as always.
Good sized chapters, lots of selection both of books and other indigo products. Not too busy on a Christmas eve at lunch time, which was surprising. No places to sit to make sure you're up for being on your feet for a while.
November 6, 2020 - Everyone wearing masks and lining up at door which is a very short wait! Screening questions asked by staff upon entering and also the encouragement of hand sanitizing. I was helped by an informative staff member with cool purple hair and found all my items with ease.
Lots of books, as always albeit a bit disorganized; helpful people working there whom can find what you're looking for very quickly, so just ask them! They also have very obnoxious Christmas carols blasting over the speakers these days!
Got a very cute Poter ceramic travel mug without box. The staff was nice enough to give me 50%off~~ Satisfied :D
I want to not like chapters since its probably better to shop at your local smaller bookstore, but this place really does have a lovely selection. Their bestsellers are often on sale, the note books are unique and very well made. Furthermore, they have such a huge selection of magazine and they have laid out chairs for people to just read them, and the staff doesn’t give you any trouble about it. Some of their merchandise like mugs and scarves etc. are a bit expensive, but again very good quality stuff.
Went a few days after Christmas. The store was very busy. Lots of cashier's working so the wait wasn't horrible. Staff was super friendly.
It feels like a gift store more than it does a book store . Pricey .
