West Wind Supper Club

This is one of our go to places when we have guests from out of town. This time our drinks were wrong. The manager did come over without us requesting to apologize and correct the issue. The seafood buffet was ok. Much of the food was warm at best rather than hot. The ribs were horrible, but the crab legs made up for it. We usually have an exceptional experience here, so one not so great evening isn't a make or break.

The buffet is a great price for the quality of food you get! The food is flavorful and well prepared. We will definitely be back, but if I would have judged by the exterior or the average rating on Google I don't think I've gone in the first place. Definitely a reminder to not judge a restaurant by it's curb appeal. inside restaurant is well-kept with a very enjoyable atmosphere. I don't know how the average rating on Google is as low as it is. This is definitely worth a try or trying again! It is far better than many of the places in town with higher ratings. I found that the crowd on Google has usually done well to accurately let you know what to expect. This one I think the group has misjudged completely.

Went to the West Wind for brunch with my family hoping to get b'fast items. The buffet was sparse at best - no pancakes, french toast, or waffles are offered (they were not out, they don't offer them). The only item that fit was the build-your-own omelette - although good, it's not worth the price. Service was great, but people should be coming for the food and ambiance.

I enjoy the attention to detail on the food. Many places will slap something on the grill and call it good food hoping that image and marketing will take care of the rest but the flavor and finish are really great here. Interest menu options, good variety. Unique twists on old favorites like the Bananas Foster french toast. My only negative is that the staff could be a little more timely with greetings and not forget about you. Most of the time that has not been a problem.

Service was very friendly, but waited a very long time for drink refills and the bill. The crab legs at the buffet were cold and the butter for the crab legs was not butter, it was like flavored oil or something. The temperature in the restaurant was very warm, about 75 degrees or more. The rest of the food was very good, but the buffet was not worth $20.
