A nice community centre that has a small fitness area, but functional indoor gym for the community. There's also a heritage Tudor-style mansion nearby called Aberthau Mansion.
This is a nicely located community center.nThere are lots of event for kids like Halloween events.nBirthday party is cheaper but there is bouncy castle.
Compact little community center nicely integrated with all the fitness essentials: namely, a well-equipped weight room and a standard gymnasium. It even has a pottery building nearby!
Just tried to check availability and the woman on the phone was extremely rude! She couldn't check the dates I was giving her and asked me to send them an email, I sent the email and then they said it will take 10 business days to reply, meaning 2 weeks, called again and asked her to please give me the availability she was so rude! First she said that the event had to be 8 weeks in less than two weeks availability and then she said a year, after I begged her for availability had to guide her to every single weekend of the month because she needed a specific date, Incredible, had to write this review because is the worst service I have ever had. It's so sad that these are the people who are managing our heritage buildings that are supposed to be there to serve the community.
Went here to lift some weights on a Saturday morning. Pleasantly surprised. The gym was smallish but very functional, with older but great quality equipment. At one point I was the only person there! I love these old, unpretentious gyms. The staff were super friendly and it only cost $5.50 for the day. Highly recommend!
