One of the busiest fitness centers/gyms in the area. I’ve tried going at 7 am and at 12 pm and it has been so busy both times no matter the day. Facility is very small given the population and community that it serves. It’s a struggle to find an open machine or free equipment during these hours. Front desk staff are wonderful however. This low rating is mostly due to the crowdedness and space of the facility. Equipment is pretty standard compared to other gyms/fitness centers, probably has less machines compared to Hillcrest or Creekside. I would recommend going at different hours not at 6-8 am or at noon to test your luck and hopefully your experience will be better than mine. Creekside has been a better experience in terms of equipment and crowdedness in my opinion.nnWould be nice to have an expanded gym or possibly extended hours, though I understand budget is a concern with the parks board.
The gym itself is small but functional, and the location is convenient. However, the membership pricing does not feel aligned with what is actually offered at this location.nnThis membership is bundled with pool and multi-location access, yet this location does not have a pool, and there is no option for a gym-only membership. As a result, members are paying for amenities they cannot use unless they travel to other locations.nnGiven that this is a community facility, I expected more flexible and affordable membership options. A location-specific/gym-only plan would make the pricing feel much more reasonable and transparent.nnI hope management considers unbundled memberships in the future, as this would better serve members who only want access to the gym at this location.
There is a piano that you can have access to for a small fee. You would have to make arrangements for a booking regarding availability. I thank the owners for this option. I thank God for this blessing for a means to find inner peace!
I recently went to this community center for an event. This community center includes a basket ball court, gym, public library, and few halls. If you’re looking to book one of the halls for an event I think this is a good place. There’s a small play area for kids. Also, there’s indoor climbing. There’s a security guard at the entrance. Overall, I had a good experience. If you want more info you can check their website.
Great Gym to play ball and other activities . Library here- Whisk Cafe with multi Level Bakery for cooking up all sorts of goodies . Underground parking- great for pick- up, drop-off and delivery potentially discreet? Great walking distance to the brewery just down the street and many other hole in the wall businesses. This Place is a gem - hidden in plain sight! Makes me want to try to get a full tour of the whole place ! Even have private elevators and a day care. Wow!nProbably a great quiet place for reporters , and journalists to come do their work, and even better for VPD , or other agency's to come get their workouts in and investigate . 5 stars
