Too bad I can't give a half of a star... Drive thru service was rude and cold, just like the chicken burger I received. Overdone and dry, with the tiniest piece of nasty brown-edged lettuce that barely covered a quarter of the burger. With the price of fast food these days I definitely expected better. I ate it only because I was hungry and a 20 minute drive away - didn't see this before I returned to work. I will not be returning to this location.
As usual we go to Wendy's for the salad take outs. The high quality of their salads was as expected. They do them better than any other fast-food place. The service was acceptable speed now a days there is nothing fast about fast food anywhere, the staff were polite and efficient. Order was accurate and as mentioned the food was great. I do miss the 2-option combo of a half salad and another item...
This is a Wendy's and Tim Hortons in a shared space. Wendy's is very consistent. Exactly what you expect from a Wendy's franchise. Definitely worth mentioning employee Ben who provides top notch customer service every time. The atmosphere is less great now that you need a code to use the bathrooms.Food: 5/5
Wendy's and Tim Hortons share the same building, a nice combo if you ask me. Anyway the place is nice, nothing special and the service was quick. Though I have to admit it a bit odd that you need a code to use the bathrooms. Must be some history behind that! Since this is located across the road from the ferry it's easy to grab a bite or coffee before getting on the ferry.
The service here is horrid. Drive thru cashier lady can barely say "boo" much less "hello", doesn't even look at you nor great you. I understand it's an annoying job, and maybe management isn't the greatest, but if you truly hate working here so much then quit instead of infecting everyone with your terrible attitude and blatant disregard for the customers that pay your wage. Food is decent, on par with other fast food restaurants in the region.
Poor management, I just went threw their drive threw. Their sign lights were off. So, I drove to the window just to see if they were closed. The management tells me that, there're still open. To drive back around and take my order there. Waste my gas, because they didn't have their lights on. Hopefully next time. They put their sign on and help a little bit more. I used to like this location, but lately they seem to be rude and short with not only myself, but with my family. Whom have notice the same thing. Come on Wendy's, I've been understanding that you've been short staff and all up until this point.
Honestly the drive through service at this restaurant has significantly declined in the last few months they will not say hello when you get to the window they will not say anything other than the price of your meal shove the machine in your face before you get a chance to say what you would like to pay with they will hand you your food and you're on your way no thank you no goodbye no anything. Honestly all it takes is to say hello to someone when they pull up to the window and it would feel less like you're an inconvenience to them.
Just left this Wendy's. No customers inside or in the drive thru. Ordered 2 baconaters and 1 potato. Everything was cold. Noticed potatoes were cold and returned to the counter and waited. Then checked our sandwiches, cold too. Worse breakfast in a long time and won't be back. Server was on her cell phone the whole time.
Good real beef patties, however their quality could use a facelift. Bought a portobello mushroom melt burger, and it quite literally had 4 peices of mushroom. Wasn't impressed, as usual with fast food, not as advertised.
"That's for breakfast" got the idea across just fine thanks, we didn't need the shouted extended explanation from the manager who decided she needed to yell over her staff. Also I KNOW that baked potato doesn't come with sour cream, that's why I ASKED for it. If you're going to charge me for it the least you can do is PUT IT IN THE BAG. Our annual reminder of why we only end up in your drive through once a year. Could someone else PLEASE start doing baked potatoes?
