Just got charged $30.00 for six pieces of chicken, a small gravy and a small potato salad. Called lees chicken to ask about the French Fries and told did not com with them. No wonder people don’t order out anymore. They wanted me to call head office. I said no that’s ok just will not order there again. After several years of shopping there I am so disappointed. You just lost a customer.
This place is located of the Inland Island Hwy near the Shell gas station. It is easily accessible from both directions of traffic and has good operating hours. We've been here nearly a dozen times in the last two years and absolutely love it. It's not healthy in any way, but when your hitting up a fried chicken restaurant, what do you expect. My favorite part about this food chain is the staff and the customer service they bring to the table. Each and every time, I'm greeted with a smile and a personal touch. Keep up the good work Lee's
Stopped in for a 10pack combo. Huge pieces of chicken with great breading. Definitely a must stop on my way up North.Food: 5/5
Stopped to get some chicken to bring camping. Got the "meal" which comes with 3 sides, and choose 3 x potato wedges. It comes with gravy and they threw in a bunch of ketchups & vinegar. The chicken was really good and flavorful. The "breading" almost looked like they were using whole Corn Flakes, and is used on the potato wedges as well. You can order spicy if you want. We had leftover wedges and used them to make camping hash browns the next morning which turned out really good. A nice change from KFC. Actually, we tried to go to KFC, but they must have been operating on holiday hours cause they were still closed after their posted opening time. Their loss as we have found a new spot !!!
I went To the Esquimalt location, and I had very bad customer service. My father was unsure of what he wanted since we've never been before and the young woman at the counter was being snarky the whole time. When my father was unsure what the meal came with she looked at the other cashier and giggled. Once we exited we waited outside and that same woman walked up to the cooks and clearly said "We are a chicken place, We sell chicken" Right after we were done ordering. I never make reviews but this one angered me. Sorry If I sound like a Karen tho
Mediocre chicken at best. The tenders didn’t have much flavor and were dry, and we ordered spicy chicken pieces and didn’t receive spicy. Weird batter-like texture on the wedges, and the coleslaw was very good, but the cup is too small when you compare to the amount you get with the other sides. The biscuit and gravy were the best part.
Spicy jumbo poppers....looking a little small.... especially for a 15$ meal ..Food: 1/5
So let's remember this is a fried chicken type place. It's getting 5 stars as just that. It's GREAT! Fast'n'Friendly, less greasy, er, I'm not sure of a less un-nice way to say that, than a franchise I could name. I like the crispy, spicy and I stop there with a RAVENOUS HUNGER after a long MTB ride, get the 3-piece with potatoes...and GRAVY, of course. They are just a tad spare with mashed serving size but the fries portions are good. They are refreshing the paint there even as I write with the world's best Benjamin Moore products so they intend to be around for years to come! A great road food stop!
Forever dreaming of delicious ribs, we finally had the chance to eat the ribs available at 'Lee's Famous Chicken & Ribs', as it says on their sign. We drove by many times and saw the big sign and 'ribs' caught our eye. We developed a hankering for ribs. Now was our chance to eat the famous ribs. Inside, when reviewing the large KFC-like menu screen, we saw no ribs. We inquired. We were told that ribs had been discontinued a few years prior. We were not to eat ribs that day. Instead we ate chicken that cost three times as much as KFC.
