Last time we ordered a large popcorn chicken which we love , the box was only half full. We order a large cole slaw and only got 3/4 container. They raised the prices and give you less. I don't mind the increase but I want my moneys worth. Also I do not like the tip option on the debt machine. We like the chicken, fries and cole slaw but we feel we are getting ripped off.
My order was "ready to go" the moment I ordered, but my fries were ice cold.Food: 3/5
Went in and ordered 1 kids chicken tenders, one toonie Tuesday special and a couple biscuits and got over charged. Then when going thru bag realized they gave me & charged me for 2 kids chicken tender meals when I only ordered one. They need to learn to focus on the customer in front of them and let the person in drive thru handle the drive thru.
What can you say... Typical for KFC in my opinion. 4 piece original recipe chicken box w/ fries, coleslaw salad and side of gravy. Quick, hot, and of course the side of gravy was amazing. So unfortunate not to have a location in Comox Valley. Nice however to have a reason to visit Campbell River or Nanaimo. Will be back!
This location is always hit or miss. Sometimes you go and the chicken is fresh and juicy, the gravy is perfect, and the fries are fresh and delicious. Next time you go and you'll get greasy puny chicken pieces, gravy that looks and tastes like they bought packages at superstore, and fries that were made some time in the sixties. Consistency would sure be appreciated, but it's the only location for miles around, so they get away with this behaviour.
Gotta love that gravy. The poutine is awesome. The chicken is always the best. Unfortunately, their hours seem to be very sporadic and living outside of town you never know if they’re going to be open. Posted hours on Google or Siri don’t correspond with actual hours so it’s always a gamble. Lucky there is a Wendy’s next door to take my money and pretty darn good too.
Unfortunately this location is terrible the chicken is either tasteless or greasy as all hell . The last time we went to the location ordered food the chicken was soggy ; the lettuce was old an the food just had no flavour what’s so ever.. filed a complaint an the supervisor did nothing to resolve the issue Update: meal was reimbursed this time around the food was actually decent still late on the order made the call 40mins prior yet it was busy
What’s the deal, is this place ever open Schedule says open but nobodies there and no reasoning behind it. 3 days in a row. Not the first time this has happened either
Food is good, so that's a real positive! Wait times in the lineup are atrocious. Their system compatibility with coupons what's available online, when you need to use their app, and when you need to cut out coupons, and which code you have to read off of the coupon when you use it at the drive-thru.... Is absolutely deficient. Drive-thru and coupon redemption are the big reasons that this restaurant is only getting 2 stars.
It's always about location, this one you've got to drive around a few corners; you can go in! Or through drive through! Ordered a bucket of chicken, large fries & gravy! By the time I got home should've checked my ordered prior to leaving! The fries where cold & looked like they had been re- fried! The Chicken greasy, ordered a few extra pieces and got less than what I ordered! Got more drumsticks than Carter has pills! And the Gravy look like & tasted like their was no flavouring used! It was so lumpy & to much fat, that there was a layer of grease forming on top
