Story

The walls are covered with historical photos dating back to the beginning of the nineteenth century depicting the life and activities in this community.

Historic artifacts including currency, stamps, stock certificates of local companies from the turn of the century; along with collectibles from shipping, railways and other enterprises of days gone by, are on display through the restaurant.

Tasty Caesar salad with blackened chicken. Most family restaurants do only a so-so job with Caesar salad these days. Wellington's was not high-end but still the best I've had in a while.

I was staying in a local hotel in the area, and this place was recommended by the owner. I can assume it’s generally a decent place. He called them to ask when do they close their kitchen because he has a guest looking for dinner after a long day, they said between 9:10 - 10:00. I walked to the Location because it was close, and arrived 9:20. As I was approaching the door, they locked up. The staff informed me they were closed. I’m not knocking them because they were dead so they closed early, it is because they informed me they were going to be open for a while longer and were aware of my arrival. I can rate the food bad, but my customer service experience was.

Fantastic dinner! I doubt if you could order anything on the menu that isn't great! Waitress was helpful in giving suggestions. Food had great flavour & priced accordingly. Steady stream of customers. Surpasses all other restaurants in Parry Sound. Will definitely return!

Perhaps my opinion is slightly swayed from the dismal to adequate meal had at a local resort I was staying at, but this place was a much needed breath of fresh air. Seated and drinks were brought out promptly. Once ready to order, our meals came quickly. Halibut fish and chips were on point! Their fries are fantastic, crunchy on outside, soft and tasty on he inside, and long (infer what you will). The halibut didn't even need the tartar sauce since the fish and batter were done perfectly. Blackened chicken sandwich on a Keizer hit the spot perfectly. Not too much bread or too less meat. Plus those amazing fries. Parking right outside for free, and a well stocked bar. Highly, truly recommend for a casual drink in a cozy atmosphere with some great pub soul food.
