Welcome Inn and Suites

Stayed one night in the fall. Very pleased with how clean and comfortable it was for the unbeatable price! Heat worked well, king bed very comfy and appreciated the micro and fridge included. New doors and locks being installed for greater security. Would definitely return.

True it is pretty run down. But the owner is in the process of renovation. The room I had was freshly renovated. It was clean and the bed was okay. It had a new refrigerator and microwave. The price for the night was pretty good. So you can overlook a lot of the negatives. I stay in a lot of hotels. Weather they are new or old they all have faults and have shortcomings. But when the average price is on the rise its nice to see some of these gems still going. As for a lot of the other reviews most of their concerns have been addressed.

Headboards were very dusty, room smelled bad, no ice bucket, no coffee in room, had to ask for hand towels, cobwebs and one spider, horrible stains on the carpet (don't want to even think what they could have been), building is falling apart. On the upside, it was very quiet, the toilet did flush, the frig/freezer worked. The place was ok but I think the majority of their clients are transient.

Don't believe the photos here. The place is rather dirty and dated. We found someone's hair in our beds, the pillows and the comforter were dirty. In the whole room two bulbs barely worked. We had to ask for a refund and they refunded a half of the reservation, which is not bad.

As a place to stay to sleep, while exploring the area, this is a great stay. When a problem was brought to management's attention it was dealt with quickly and effeciently.
