Excellent place for a wedding. The food was incredible and the best southern style goodness ever! We enjoyed my sister's wedding and the dinner that followed. Beautiful place and a great location for a venue!

We used the Montague Inn for our wedding on September 2nd. It was a beautiful venue and the staff was excellent. The food was delicious and all of our guests had a lovely evening. The rooms were beautiful and have a unique charm to them. I would highly recommend using the Montague Inn for both your wedding ceremony and reception.

The Montague Inn is a fantastic getaway in Saginaw! Great views of the river and nearby park. The staff are friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to explore the rooms that weren't occupied. Each one has something fun and unique to offer. Definitely recommend.

Had my wedding here in June, 2017. It started with my dad having to buy stakes with his own money for the tent because the staff wouldn't, and the wind was blowing the poles up and out of the ground. During dinner, I paid for soda in my wedding fees and they didn't have it out, you had to special order it and none of the guests, including me the bride, knew about it. Also my cake topper went missing afterwards and the staff will not help me with finding it. They claim it could me my fault for not paying my cake decorator to cut the cake, even though the Montague Inn says it's complimentary. They also are not liable for losing anything you bought for the wedding, and they lose things, so sorry you'll be out of luck because they might throw your decorations or cake toppers away, like they did for me. Most of the staff was rude or hard to find on the day of my wedding keeping themselves hidden in a dining room mainly, the wedding coordinator, Joanne, didn't come until later, just a few hours before ceremony. The cake was served too early according to my wedding day plan, so my guests got the memo that this was the end, so they all left before my send-off. I was told there would be fresh, full flowers lining the aisle to the ceremony, but there were barely any flowers besides my own petals from the flower girls. During the wedding day, their electrical system blew out the laptop for my photobooth service, so it rendered the photobooth's equipment useless, which that was used as my guest book, so I never got my guest book signed. I also had some issues with paying my wedding, because I kept getting quoted different amounts, and at one point I overpaid them and they said I underpaid. Eventually through me going through all my receipts, they agreed to give me my money back that I overpaid. Finally it was so hard to get ahold of the wedding coordinator, Joanne, she is almost impossible to get ahold of, especially if you need to go over billing or find missing items that might gotten lost, stolen, or thrown away. DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR WEDDING. I was about $10,000 after all these "fees" were added, and I didn't even have but 125 people, no alcohol or dancing, and no hors d'oeuvres or extra meals. Just two meal buffet and soda and juices. It's ridiculous. The only people here who were helpful were Naomi and especially Doc. He was the best person there at Montague Inn, so helpful offering bottles of water during my rehearsal, which Joanne was not present for, and during the wedding. He was amazing at handling my phone calls despite not working with weddings. I would recommend this man over and over again for his amazing service. I'm just so sad to see this inn have such a bad way of handling their brides, so please, find somewhere else and don't waste your time and money here. They were very unprofessional during this whole time and it's finally taken me 3 months to write this because it hurts me to remember the day that should've been my dream come true, my wedding day. Instead it was a mess, and I'm still trying to find the joys of the day.
