My favorite place on Earth. I grew up here. Borders Warren Dunes State Park so there are 6 miles of beach to enjoy, and lots of trails in the dunes to explore. 2017 parking is $10 a day. Beach house concession is disappointing this year. Only boiled hot dogs and nacho chips. And most of the beach house is blocked off for rental. I have many fond memories in there, sad that I can't sit inside and reminisce. Hope that will change in the future ?

Everything looked great... except the boat launch.  Launching a sailboat on a windy day would be suicide because there are no wave breaks. And, if it were calm, you wouldn't be allowed to launch a motorized watercraft. What's the point?

A beautiful beach with a friendly family vibe. I didn't pay any park fees when visiting recently.

We started our trip at New Buffalo but the parking was a nightmare. We decided to try Weko Beach & are so thankful we did. Warren Dunes is great if you want to walk a mile in hot sand but my daughter is on crutches so that wasn't an option. Weko Beach had plenty of parking (& $4 cheaper than New Buffalo), clean water, just enough sandy beaches to make the little ones happy. This will be our new favorite destination to enjoy Lake Michigan. They have camping too which will be great in the future.

The beach is beautiful! However the rocks will kill your feet when going into the water. Definitely wear water shoes at this beach. The bathrooms totally smelled and were ungodly hot! Have no idea why they smelled so bad but it was awful. On the plus side the ice cream was just $2.00 and so good! Will be back with water shoes and floaties and a bathroom air freshener.....
