Wawanesa Insurance

Only a one star, because zero stars are not allowed. I have been involved in an accident with someone you insure, who is out nothing more than a littler inconvenience. Meanwhile, I am a teacher, with a disabled spouse. Your company cannot even see fit to arrange for a rental car...since our only running vehicle is no longer drivable, thanks to your insured. we are now left to scramble to find transportation, and I am forced to miss crucial time from my students because of this. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...They are merely grifters who will not even do basic things to help anyone.

WOW! So Many Negative Reviews, I am with Wawanesa for Last 25 years , Put in my first claim due to wind Damage to my Fence. They responded within two days and The adjuster coming tomorrow to access Damage, Lets hope it all goes well.. after Reading all these Reviews I'm very Nervous as of How this will Unfold for me fingers Cross.!! lets see what my Rating will be lol .

If I could give them zero stars I would! The most insane insurance company! they have lost what use to be a company with a good reputation, now they have a bad reputation. They price gauge I now have a better coverage for my home at 150. Per months compare to 230 per month with a 5000. Deductible With no claim this was robbery. It's time to move on people. Try to find a company that is sustainable!

Excellent service. Beyond expectations. I was a client of Wawanesa for 50 years. Best insurance company ever! Totally fair, totally human, totally honest.

The worst company I have ever dealt with IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. if you enjoy having your time wasted and constantly chasing to get your payout then by all means sign up with wawanessa! Seriously… save yourself the time and headache and pay an extra few hundred dollars to have proper home insurance with a company that actually gets back to you, I know I will as soon as my policy is up.

I was in emergency hospital and during my recovery they decided to cancel my policy almost lost my life for internal bleeding my partner almost never left my side sent home to recover and received an email from my broker never received a letter from Wawanesa Insurance even though they knew 5 years ago that we had moved and never updated our mailing address nor did they bothered to contact my partner by email or calling. I had a relationship with them for almost 10 years as a customer. When explained to my broker about what happened they relaid that Wawanesa didn’t care about our situation nor would change their decision. I’m still being treated threw Ambulant Care at the hospital and so forth.

I have been a client for 13-14 years and purchased a home and not long after there was a water leak. It was repaired and then had a second leak 1.5 years later. Same plumbing company and I was told from WAwanesa with the plumbers report I provided and their own contractors that they would try and go after the plumbing company for the damages. I was concerned and asked if I should pay the claim because my insurance is important to me. I’m also very proactive when it comes to my home and take care of anything immediately . This is not my fault or do to negligence on my part. I was told that I should be fine and that my premiums would likely go up for which I understand but just received notice that they will not renew me. I’ve been a good client, do not use the same licensed plumbing company, have a plumbers report as requested and I’m cancelled. Not impressed ! I’ve spoken to another adjuster and they said normally they would increase premiums or deductible not just not renew. The damages to my place were annoying, enough to cause grief and yes money to repair but not extensive in respect to my home being renovated. I’m very upset. Update- Have spoken to their underwriting department and they have renewed my policy with provisions .

i have been customer of wawnessa for 8 years for three different policies .....they decided to kick me out of one of my policy because i park my vehicles inside my commercial warehouse unit ….Really!!!!under writer bullied me because i refused to sign letter to not to park my vehicles inside my warehouse and she thought by threatening me to cancel my policy i would say yes i will sign....something about me i don't like bullies
