One of the best holiday place in Alberta. Small city but has so many natural attractions on this city. You can spent good relax quality time with your family. Has option to go for US-Canada crude for 2.5 hrs without any passport or permission 😊. Go for hiking, site seeing, Lakes for boating and lucky to see some wildlife too.

Beautiful. We came in the winter. Most things are closed and a recent fire caused some trails to be closed but this place is just beautiful. The people are nice. The scenery is breathtaking. I definitely come back again in the summer

Great community with a positive atmosphere. The people are incredibly nice and the views are unbeatable. This place has been a travel destination of my family's for years, and it will always continue to be so. I can't describe how much I love Waterton. It's worth every penny! So many activities and sights to see/do. I highly recommend it to everyone.

It was very busy when we went this past summer (during Canada 150, so plenty of people were driving down) and we were very lucky to get a campsite. There was so much wildlife that I almost never put my camera down. I think we saw at least a bear (or three!) every day. Deer in town. Tons of birds. The mountains were beautiful, every way you look there was a great view. The lake itself was lovely too. Tons of pebble beaches to walk, with very clear, blue water! There was also plenty of hikes, some of them easy and some of them more difficult. The work (or lack of work) to get to the end of the hikes consistently paid off. One piece of advice that I could give is to always carry your bear spray just in case, we came across a few bears on these hikes. Talk to the information center when you get into town and they can give you advice on how to handle yourself properly in case you run into a bear. They are very friendly at the info center and it's the first building you drive past when going into town, so it's extremely easy to find. Overall there is always something to do in Waterton, for kids and adults alike! I highly recommend going, it has so much to offer and has such a different feel compared to Banff and Jasper. You won't feel bored coming to a place like this!

This charming town should be on eveyones bucket list. The food in every restaurant was delicious and the people in the town are so friendly. The scenery around this town is stunning and there is so much to do. Love seeing bears every where.
