Beautiful place with lovely treed campground with washrooms. They have a place to launch your kayak off the dock which is great! There are also life jackets available to borrow, should one forget theirs. The lake is also stocked for fishing. Good hiking trails too.
Great place for camping with family. There are many drinking water outlets in the campground where you can fill your trailer. Lake is at walkable distance.
Great provincial campground. Very clean bathrooms and lake is great for kayaking. No beach but does have a water side picnic area. Dumping station has a fee. Free dumping at the co-op on pincher Creek. Bear trap on site added some excitement to the trip.
Beautiful scenery, lots of trails around the lake & park. Can see swans nesting on the east side of the lake depending on time of year you go. The lake does not have any beach area or many spots you can fish from the shore, you need a boat to really enjoy the lake fully. I tented here for 4 days and overall enjoyed it.
Beauvais Lake Provincial Park is a great park to camp. They have RV sites, Tent sites and Group use sites. They also have some 1st come 1st served walk-in sites available. Check-in to the site is easy. There is a self check box as you enter the camp site. Though there are a of of trees in the campsite site, the sites themselves are close to each other. Some sites are shared sites e.g. site 8 and 10. They have basic facilities available. Pit Toilets and Drinking Water are available throughout out the camp site. Sites with power have 15 amp and 30 amp power connections. Each site also has a picnic table and a fire pit check fire bans before use. There is a dump station close to the camp entrance. There are 2 day use areas on each site of the lake. Beaver Creek Day Use and North Shore Day Use areas. There are a lot of trails to hike. Amongst others, there is a trail that goes around the lake. The lake is a short walk away from the campsite. Access to the water is from a dock at the boat launch. The dock also has a kayak launch.
Beautiful place with great views. It has both, long and short hikes. Make sure to take a bear spray with you.
Beautiful provincial park with some private cabins and a campground and some picnic spots. Good fishing, beautiful scenery. Good for kayaking or canoeing. The lake isn't very big so motor boats aren't really necessary. It does have a decent boat launch though. Restrooms: There are public restrooms here and they're fairly clean usually.
Beautiful park and campground! Just wish there wasn't so may of those darn sticky things dropping from the trees. Just that time of year I guessmid May. Great hiking trails!
Beautiful lake for a kayak, skate or hike
This campground was very disappointing. Not well maintained, power in one site was not working, moved to another and almost had an injury as the boards on the picnic table were not fastened down on one end, park is not well marked so it takes a bit to figure out where to go. The sites are well proportioned so you can fit a large trailer in without issue. No one working in the park office although parks vehicles were present, and present at their supposed residences the following day. Never saw a single staff member during our stay. The park is basically a wetland and as there is a lot of standing water and already many mosquitoes it will soon become very heavily infested. We arrived a week before the "season " officially begins on May 15th so water taps were not working at time of visit and neither was the dumping station. As far as a lake goes, this is not a lake. Large pond yes. Good place for a daytrip to capture a bit of wildlife for locals, or possibly a short paddle. I was also disappointed to see power boats on the water. It is too small a space for them and should be limited to only motorless watercraft. Note: If you stay here you need cash or a cheque for the first come first served camping sites.
