I recently placed an order with Walmart, and it has been an incredibly frustrating experience. My delivery was supposed to arrive at a specific time, but it didn’t show up. When I called, the manager informed me about a power outage and promised delivery by that evening, but it never came.nnThe next morning, I called again, desperate for my items before work. Instead of assistance, I was met with an angry response from the manager, who offered vague explanations but no clear resolution. It’s unacceptable that they can’t manage their deliveries and handle customer inquiries professionally.nnThis experience has left me very disappointed, and if this continues, Walmart will lose not just me, but many customers in the future. I hope they take these issues seriously.
I went in today to purchase makeup and the lady working in cosmetics was so rude. I kindly asked her for help twice, first to find a certain cosmetic brand, and then to unlock a product for me since it was locked up. Both times she barely acknowledged me, didn’t even look at me and gave me attitude. I understand you may not like your job, or are having a bad day, but please give other people some respect if they ask for assistance. She was blonde, a bit bigger, and had glasses. I’ve never received such bad customer service.nn2 stars because the cosmetic prices were very good, but I did not have a good experience. The layout of the store is very weird too. It has 2 floors and everything seems so unorganized. It’s like they forced a Walmart where it doesn’t belong. Lots of theft happens here as well. I would go to a different location if you can.
My experience was absolutely horrendous today. It doesn’t even deserve one star.nnI was waiting to pickup my online order, and when we phoned in it had said our order wasn’t ready. After about half an hour someone finally had came to see if we were waiting for groceries. We gave the worker our order number and when he came back he said our order never went through. That is was “a common bug” in the system.nnWe are from out of town, and I was with my daughter and restless toddler. An hour and a half drive just to have to go in anyway.nnAnd not to mention that when I went to the bathroom the toilet seat was loose and pinched me, and when I went to wash my hands the faucet was broken and water came shooting out at me.nnWe have shopped her since the doors opened. We will not be coming back.nnThe only good part was the cashier, I don’t know her name but she’s nice and deserves a raise.
The price was wrong on these items I got one and asked about the price. The csm from the front door going towards NAIT was so arrogant to me because I questioned him about the price. Unreal how I was treated today. Wednesday May 8th 2024 8:20pm it was not the cashier's fault but the CSM was so arrogant to me it was unacceptable told me stop trying to steal, if you have any proof at all I'm stealing why didn't your security stop me do not accuse people of stealing unless you have proof I'm not a thief but I was highly treated one today I showed him the pictures of the prices wrong and he's still accused me.
Summary; If you can afford to travel a few minutes more to another place such as the superstore nearby, I don’t recommend coming here for groceries and appliances. Save the hassle.nnThis place has gone downhill very quickly in a short time… maybe new management happened or something else, but I do not recommend coming here if you are able to go somewhere else like the superstore nearby which is a much better environment overall..nnNot sure why, but I find much more homeless have been hanging around here as of late? Maybe it’s because of the weather getting colder as it’s nearing fall, but some of them do look to be —for lack of better terms— ‘doped out’, which as an adult already makes me feel unsafe, but I can’t imagine how this may feel for children. Now I don’t want to sound heartless, but is there not a way to make them move somewhere where they’re not right at the front doors? It makes wanting to come in and out an uncomfortable experience…nnIt likely has to do with the constant thievery that’s been happening, but from my experience in the last few times coming here they do not allow you to exit the normal entrances into the mall anymore even if you bought nothing and simply used the Walmart to get into Kingsway. You now need to go through the self checkout isles to exit which can be a bit of a hassle when there’s a long line you need to excuse yourself through to leave ‘:nnIf you’re someone like me or have a loved one with extreme sound sensitivities and issues with crowds, I especially advise going somewhere else. Lots of sounds due to the many people in such a squished environment. It’s also very cramped here, and as stuff can sometimes be rather unorganized it can get overwhelming fast. ESPECIALLY if you have a cart. If you can, please take a basket instead. It makes walking around the small isles full of people much easier.nnI don’t think their elevators have been working since I moved here two months ago, so for anyone who needs it; Kingsway inside has elevators you can traverse in, but if you need to access both floors of the Walmart you will certainly have troubles :.nnI find the food in recent times has been spoiling faster too, and much of the shelves are empty. Not sure if that has to do with being unable to meet demand in time, or something else.nnCheckout isles are often not working and so, closed off— and I don’t think the price scanner near the posters upstairs has been fixed in a few weeks? Unless it broke again since I last been here…nnStaff seem very consistently overwhelmed nowadays. Is something happening behind the scenes with management? It’s very telling by how either stressed and/or irritable many of them seem to be when I walk by or interact with them. I’ve looked at recent reviews and it seems to be a consistent problem as of recent…nnThough, not all of it is terrible! The upstairs is much less overwhelming and calmer, and has more space! For people looking to just get clothes, electronics, hands on hobby stuff or toys, I do recommend the upstairs! The workers there have been friendlier too I find in my experience. Very helpful and kind! I do feel bad for them, as lots of the electronic stuff such as isles and price scanners have been having consistent troubles in the past few weeks that take forever to fix. They cannot control that, so it always breaks my heart when they profusely apologize to me when a machine is having problems and I have to move to a new one…
