Pretty confusing to navigate but in all other aspects it's your average walmart. Just make sure you can use the self checkout because there's only one checkout lane and you'll be waiting a few decades to get through it
Went to the kemptville Walmart today to exchange a product for a bigger size diapers. Given as gifts so we didn’t have a receipt. Friends asked before giving if they could be exchanged for other sizes. Was told we could exchange for a bigger size. I personally called and the first time was able to exchange no problem. Called again and this time was given such a hard time by Susan at the customer service. She originally refused to let me exchange, however i mentioned I had already exchanged here and was told I could.. she reluctantly did. Of course she had a rude snide comment after she exchanged my product. As someone who has worked customer service before for 10 years I have never experienced anything like this. She was the rudest customer service rep ever and I will be calling to complain and avoiding Walmart like the plague in kemptville if I can. Susan it’s time to retire I think!
You have to be your own cashier and now you don't get bags even when you do a pickup order its a joke. Why does the cost of everything keep going up while they cut expenses all the time. I won't help load my car during a pick up anymore I'll bring bags and they can do their job. I don't work for Walmart.
Store has almost completely switched over to self-serve checkouts, and I have already been forced to use self-serve when they shut their full checkouts down for lack of staff. Update: Black Friday weekend, 8:55 am,.1 checkout open unless you self-serve. Update: Thursday afternoon, line chock-full of seniors; they refuse to open 2nd checkout. So much for customer service.
A super sized Walmart center at this location. Washroom at the front was out of order, needed to go to the very end. I liked the McDonald's there, staff was nice and the icecream i got from there was big and tall. Somehow, it tasted very different from other McDonald's restaurants. Hmmm, no idea why but it's kind of icy and tasty.
Washrooms could use continued cleaning. Just nor a fan of huge department stores... There are beautiful clothing stores downtown Brockville with local owners.
Have self checkouts, but no idea how to open them. The lineup is 30 people long and they have 5 open.
Very small store with limited selection. Clothing section is very squished and jam packed. Typical of Walmart, next to no staff on the floor to assist. Customer service is not their specialty.
This store is only good if you want to buy just a couple items. Not because they don’t have a good selection they do but because they have no cashiers or associates to ring you up and help you bag your groceries and other items. Tons of associates standing around with zero registers open while you struggle to ring up and bag your full cart of groceries. Shambolic.
Love the new self checkout Lane... No waiting and prompt service if needed.
