Wally’s is a must try! Local family run business that’s providing excellent tasting pizza and pasta! Wally’s has quickly become my local go to for pasta when I get that craving. The wood oven pizza is also quite tasty! We’ve now tried pizza, garlic bread pizza, 2 different pasta dishes as well as 2 different salads and have been delighted with each dish! The Penne Pesto dish has been my favourite so far!
Authentic food with high quality ingredients at a good price. What more could you ask for. Both pizza and pastas were top notch. Will be back!
This is quickly becoming my go-to spot for Italian food in the area. Started working near by, and I'm glad I found this place. Gnocchi is full of flavour and the fettuccine alfredo is also good! I am thinking of trying a pizza, but that might be too much for a single person at lunch.
My girlfriend found this place and saw the great reviews. It did not disappoint. Great food for value. Exactly how much Italian food should cost. Try the creamy pizzaawesome flavor or the gnocchi very savory. All and all would recommend.
WILL BE REPORTING THIS BUSINESS TO THE BBA and Ministry of Health Inspetors Durham : 1. Prices are NOT as advertised ! and Wally has been illegally doing this for over a year. The price on the overhead display and those on their brochures are not correct, they add an extra $2 on our order and didn't notify us stating the posted prices are old and they haven't updated thier display nor brochures. Misleading and legally unproffessional. They may lose their licence to operate for breach of these standards.. 2. Staff very unpleasant, especially female cook had an almost cold evil unfriendly stare ,owner said she wasn't feeling well and had allergies and sneszin and sore throat . then why are you at work preparing food for the oublic. I asked..Again. Sick staff NEED TO stay Away. This too will be reported. 3. we ordered shrimp pasta. literally only 3 shrimp and tons of pasta. what a rip off! We won't be back nor recommend to anyone else . 0/10.
Stopped in for the first time last week and will definitely return! Had the calzone white: chicken, spinach, onions, pesto and mozzarella. The size was good and the pesto tasted fresh! Service was fast and very friendly.
We went to Wally's Italian eatery for lunch and we were very impressed. My wife got the chicken parm and I ordered Wally's special medium pizza Homemade tomato pizza sauce, grilled chicken, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, mozzarella cheese, and goat cheese. Cooked in the wood fire oven. Great versatile menu, so many other dishes we were considering as well. Wally is a great guy and we had a good conversation, very friendly and hard working family business. We are very appreciative for the great service and great food.
This is our go-to place for quick, affordable and tasty pasta dishes. Everything is made to order and tastes fresh, our favourites so far are the gnocchi and pesto penne. I haven’t tried their pizza yet, surprisingly but I see a beautiful wood fired oven, so it must be legit. If I were to nitpick, I think they can improve the texture of their meatballs and bolognese sauce.
It is so good. Like what I eat in Italy Sicily. Just feel I back to my 5th home town. Italy
I popped in for a salad before an appointment and it was delicious. The place smelled so good and I couldn't stop thinking about how much I wanted to try more of the menu. After my appointment I actually went back and ordered a pasta dish to go. It was so delicious! Any time I'm in the area, I will be stopping by. The place was so clean and the service was excellent.
