Visited the place for Birthday party . It is amazing place as kids really enjoyed it. For birthday party, there is special area for kids to get together. The playing area is common. There are numbers of games for kids and they can have fun. It is good option as Whitby location has capacity to handle 80-100 guests for birthday party. Food options were limited and pizza was good. There is no mask requirements now but some people were wearing mask.
As always, we had a great time at Chuckecheese. We went on a Saturday night and there wasn't many people here. This location is so large and spacious and I find it very clean..staff were very nice. There was a ramp for wheelchairs. We bought the 60 minute cards which is always worth the money versus the cards with the coin value. Those finish fast, but with the time, the kids will play again and again, it's always worth it. Chucky seemed so busy with the birthday parties but upon special request, the staff had him come out again to dance with the kids not in the party. My daughter loved that. I'm glad there were games for all ages, even grown ups! The 60 min card was $30. The bands were $2. We will be back! The dipndots were $6.75 forgot to take pics.
Creepy start - they make you take a selfie on entry, and when we tried to leave later on, the staff member stood blocking the exit gate until we showed her our selfie. They didn’t ask us to share, but non-verbal coercion? No thanks. Games and mini rides for kids aged 3 and up. All machines require 1-2 tokens. They used to have a free playground apparently, but that’s gone now; everything is pay-to-play. All games run on a timer, generally lasting about 20 seconds; player skill has no effect on the timer. Video Games are mostly low quality, no name. We bought the 42 tokens for $17, the cheapest option, and it lasted a bit under 30 mins. If you’ve 2+ older kids aged 5 and up, definitely buy the 30 minute timed pass, as it’s better value. Compared to real arcades, this place is awful low-rent depressing; the games are peak ADHD with their fixed 20 second windows, and always end prematurely resulting in disappointment and anger for the kids and adults. The only good thing I can say is that you get to choose a lot of different games to play without it costing too much. The kids seemed to love it, I hated it, and the selfie thing was off putting, so it’s 2 star for me.
My ratings are 5 across the board. The kids had a fun time. The coin system is now a card system where the kids can tap and play/ride. You get a 30-minute play pause to eat, etc , which allowed me to plan and give kids a heads up Chuck E. Made an appearance, danced, and did a photo with my grandaughter Vegetarian options: Salad bar, no meat options available Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp and door accessibility- 1 level playplace
Great experience today, sept 23, 2022. Staff were very friendly, helpful, and patient with my autistic goddaughter. They were attentive, and even came over a few times to ask us how we were doing. Though Chuck E. Cheese's isn't quite what I remember it to be, we had a great time and great experience thanks to the staff today!
Lots of fun, a little expensive but nice to get out and have some normalcy again. The staff were continuously cleaning which was nice to see. The ability to buy minutes instead of credits was great, kids had a blast being able to play every game in the place.
If you have a child under 4 and you're bored in the day. 20$ 17.99 + Tax one hour all you can play. Is the best bang for your buck. Take them out for an hour buy some Dippin Dots and Stuff Crusted Pep. Pizza and you've made your little lady or mans day!!!
My granddaughter has her birthday party here. It's not as loud from the games as it used to be but typical for a kids place. Decent choice of games that kids will enjoy. You have to take a selfie with your children on the way in and show it to staff on the way out - this security step is awesome. Thank you for keeping kids safe. It's still a pricey visit. "Rewards" for game tickets are nuts ... you would have to save up thousands of tickets just for a small stuffy. Go buy one instead. And they won't let you book anything day-of - not even a birthday party or photo op with Chuck E. Thankfully, the kid in the costume stopped to pose for a photo with my granddaughter when asked .. it was the only thing she wanted. I was shocked at how good the pizza was. Stuffed crust and all. Decent sauce but could use more cheese and pepperoni on top. Very tasty. Much better than when we used to take our son years ago. Kid-friendliness: Take a selfie with your kids on the way in and show it on the way out .. excellent way to keep kids safe.
The company has definitely changed over time. Gone are the gym style play areas and ball pits and it has been replaced with an arcade themed play zone. Alot of fun for kids and adults alike but extremely busy on weekends which is expected. The place is clean, and the staff work very hard and very fast to ensure the birthday areas are clean, sanitized and ready for the next group. Kid-friendliness: It's for kids of all ages and different skill sets, the games are affordable and the kids will love it. Parking: Huge parking lot as it is part of a bigger complex but they have their own section of the lot that is more than ample. Wheelchair accessibility: The access ramps are accessible from either end of the front doors and accessibility button is working.
Omg! What a great great great experience at Chucky Cheese today. This was my kids 7th and 4th birthdays today and I can't stop praising about the experience we had. Our server throughout the party named Mariam was such a loving and caring person. She made us and the guests feel so comfortable.. She was so helpful and kind. The food was good and kids loved it. Looking forward to doing our children's birthdays at Chucky Cheese every year Highly recommend Kid-friendliness: The Server we got was such a humble and caring person. Her name is Mariam and she was communicating with the kids throughout the party and engaging them with different activities..
