Walk-In Clinic at Walmart Campbell River by Jack Nathan Health

Rarely do I give 5 stars as the service provided needs to meet a very strict criteria. Dr Raslan and his staff are second to none. I went to three clinics today before his practice and was refused treatment for a simple 2 minute procedure. I was responsible for identifying efficiency and inefficient procedures for 40 years.The Quadra, Alder and Superstore clinics all failed to provide the basic service every Canadian deserves. Dr Raslan understands what being a medical service provider entails!! Excellent Efficient Service!!

I made a telehealth appointment which was the only type available for a UTI and the doctor did not order any tests done, prescribed me 3 weeks of ciprofloxacin 500 mg 2x day which is a very potent antibiotic used to treat severe infections like plague, anthrax and bone infection. My symptoms did go away but then I developed a host of negative side effects all of which are listed in the warning on the medication in various body systems - headache, dizziness, nausea, tendon pain, muscle aches, hormone cycle disturbance, chest pain, heart palpitations, nerve pain, shortness of breath, mood disturbances, insomnia. I called the doctor about this and he shouted at me that the medication is very safe and that he has been prescribing it for years, and that I just need to rest and drink water. He offered to prescribe me PAIN MEDICATION for my side effects but did not even listen to my full list of symptoms. Terrible, dangerous medical practices. I am going to a different doctor now who ordered blood, urine and ECG tests for me to make sure there is nothing severely wrong after taking this strong drug for so long. I will not come back and I do not recommend seeing this doctor AT ALL even for something minor if you are able to go somewhere else.

Never have a doctors appointment when you need one. The doctors gone most of the week except Saturdays. No wonder this walk in clinic is located in a Walmart supremely discounted shotty medical practice.

Every single time I come to this clinic they have a sign on the door saying they are closed. Middle of a Monday… again they are closed?

The receptionists are always nice and professional. The doctors are nice, understanding and very quick to help. The clinic itself is clean, updated and professional. This is the clinic we go to when we can’t get into our doctors office.

The receptionist working Sunday morning, Jan 22, was an angel. She was polite, compassionate, showed concern and had a great positive attitude. 100% night and day service from what we received at the hospital. Also, she provided wait times, which shows that the staff at this location appreciate the value of someone's time. Thank you!

Usually go here instead of waiting days or even weeks to get into my doctor. Wait times are usually not too bad and doctors are helpful and friendly. Bonus is being able to shop while you wait.

By far the best walk in clinic I've ever been to. The doctor was awesome and they booked all the tests I needed. The only clinic I'll go to.

Good doctors, but wait times given are unrealistically optimistic. Double whatever time they say it will be.
