Dr. Stephen Sohmer

I have only had a FANTASTIC experience with Dr. Sohmer! He is am amazing surgeon who put my shattered wrist back together!!! I appreciate his skill & professionalism. My interactions with him have been nothing but positive. I do not understand the single star reviews. Hey, he is a great surgeon! Maybe his bedside manner might be lacking in some instances ? but I would rather have a hand that I can use again instead of a chatty warm & fuzzy surgeon who botched my wrist surgery and left me with a claw.

Thanks Steve, I have consulted Steve with shoulder and bicep issues on several occasions. Steve has made himself available, is very knowledgeable and helpful.

Saw me for all of 3 minutes and just told me to exercise to fix my knee pain, telling me it was "inflammation of the knee" in medical Latin, as if that was informational at all. No additional tests. I just found out years later after seeing more doctors and getting proper tests done that I have lipoma arborescens which requires surgery. I could've been done with this years ago if this guy had cared.

My husband stated after a consultation regarding his knee if Dr. Sohmer was the last medical Dr. on the planet he would rather see a witch doctor.

Dr. Sohmer might be a technically skilled surgeon, but last time I checked, he has the people skills of a pumpkin.
