One of my favorite local charities, period. Unlike Salvation Army, they help any person in need without discriminating on the basis of any aspect of diversity. And their thrift store rocks - prices as low as you'd expect (or lower!), good items in good condition, and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere in which local people interact as neighbors. They get *all* my donations of "stuff," and I often shop there as well.

I have caught this store keeping name brand shoes in the back for their employees to buy. I have eye witnessed this. There is currently a pair of Jordan's back there that will never make it out to the floor. They look brand new.

You can find some good deal, but only if it's a sale ticket and you have to really look. The prices here have gone up incredibly. A thrift store is for people to save money, especially low income people. The area is economically depressed and the store managers don't seem to care about that because they charge more than some stores. If you can wait until stores have their sales, do that. No need to waste money on overpriced clothes that someone else wore.

I was able to walk in there knowing that there's at least one thing I can purchase. I walked out with one of my favorite metaphysical documentaries called What the Bleep do We Know? It was a bargain for $3. The sales individual at the register was courteous and helpful.
