Beautiful river gorge in town. Good fishing access, small trout to be caught.

Excellent cross country ski trails when there is enough snow.

Beautiful trails, well-groomed and fairly flat. We went with a couple of kids (11 and 14) who had little experience, and they did fine. The snow was incredible, but I've only visited December 2016, so I don't know if that's the norm. Some signage and trail lengths are hard to decipher and seem inconsistent with each other. The warming hut is great.

What a fantastic place to explore in the Snow! Snowshoes, x-country skis, however you want. Make sure you find one of the cool wilderness shelters and get warm, have a drink, then back on the trail

Something is up. Since Saturday (maybe longer?) I have had trouble finding a trail with evidence of grooming and it looks like the grooming machine is broken. There often are tread tracks but no corduroy. as if the drum isn't turning. Today on tangent Loop there was a like a snow plow bank down the middle of the trail, from a few inches to at least a foot high.
