Scandia RV Park

They run a pretty tight ship over here. Be sure to drive slowly. Interestingly, the people that own this trailer park and the whole Scandia shopping area, also run The Giving Plate. Was shocked to find out that these landlords would evict poor people out of their homes in the middle of winter for no fault of their own just because they wanted to tear down some trailers for aesthetic purposes; and then come to find out they fancy themselves good charitable citizens doing the 'Lord's work.' Go figure.

If the manager of this place decides he doesn't like you, watch out. I witnessed his verbal assault first hand and was honestly too shocked to react for a few minutes. When I approached to intervene, he took off. My young children NEVER should have heard the way he spoke to another human being, but he made sure his verbal assault was loud and clear. I will never, ever patronize this establishment with my personal business, and I will spread this message to all my friends.

This is a very small campground with probably 75% of its occupancy people who actually live in the units there. Majority of the campsites were very small. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The laundry room was clean but we never uses the other facilities while we were there. Definitely not the nicest place to stay but it wasn't the worst either. If we came back to Bend though, I would rather stay at the Crown Villa. Much more room and guidelines to keep it nice and clean for campers who are visiting.

Great location in Bend. Nice shaded sites. The complimentary WiFi is not the greatest, but that seems to be in issue in Bend, not just at the park. They keep the Bathrooms clean, they are in dire need of remodeling though and more are need. There are only two to accommodate 22-23 sites there can be a wait in the morning. The laundry room is well kept but needs more washers and dryers, as the permanent residence also use this laundry room. I would recommend the Scandia RV Park to others and will probably stay there again.

Pretty basic but very clean. Nice restrooms and showers.
