Drake Park

So beautiful!! A park across the bank of mirror pond - it’s so blissful, enjoyable and worth spending infact the day. The mirror pond is the heart of the beauty with its shallow water feature. Get your kayak or paddleboat and you’re set to enjoy. Visitors can relax in the peaceful setting and watch ducks, geese and luscious greenery and tall trees. Loved it.

Nice park, but tons of bird poo on the walkways, but none the less great and historical park. I enjoyed looking at the river and crossing the old pedestrian bridge that leads into west bend.

Great place to relax by the river. Cool mini amphitheater and lots of spots to sit by the river. Close to lots of shops and food too.

Drake Park is an absolute gem! The beautiful scenery and immaculate upkeep make every visit a delight. Whether it's a sunny day or a chilly one, this park offers a perfect setting for a stroll or just to enjoy nature. The cleanliness and attention to detail in maintaining the park are truly impressive. Overall, I highly recommend a visit to Drake Park!

Beautiful park with tons of green space right on the Deschutes river. Yes there are bathrooms and it’s Oregon so yes there are homeless campers but they haven’t taken over the area- yet. Great place for an afternoon picnic. It’s also the water out area for tubers so you can take a dip in if you’re up for that. Very close to the downtown area easily walkable.
