Vilda's

Lives up to its reputation as a top flight sandwich-focused joint that’s worth the slight markup. Breakfast sandwich was appropriately hearty and the eggplant sando somehow kept getting tastier the more I ate it - a sign of the deliberate choices of fresh ingredients and flavours. Charred corn salad also made a positive impression. The frozen custard was just a touch gritty, but I actually enjoyed that, and it was topped with mounds of fruit and crunchy granola-like bits. I’ll be back for more.

Quaint and straight to the point, this spot serves fantastic sandwiches. There isn't much seating, but there are a few seats indoors and some benches outside. Not much of a sandwich guy usually, but really enjoyed the deli chicken salad — one of their classics. Would recommend for anyone wanting a quick bite to go in the area!

Delicious new addition to Dovercourt. Ordered the squash club & a matzah ball soup. My friend had the BBQ mushroom sandwich. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Love the quirky, yet classic menu - very reflexive of Vilda’s aesthetics. Only a few seats inside as others have mentioned, but absolutely worth going. Can’t wait to return!

For my money the best sandwiches in Toronto. On the more expensive side for a fast lunch but so worth it. Staff are absolutely lovely and I find it hard to go a week without getting my sandwich/ice cream fix here. Their rotating sundaes hold their own and then some against the stiff ice cream competition around Ossington. The first place I recommend to anyone around the area. Don’t sleep on the coffee program either.

I've been waiting to try Vilda's for quite some time and it definitely lived up to my expectations! Friendly and helpful staff helped us narrow down our search to the chicken salad sandwich, the breakfast sandwich, and my favourite the asparagus sandwich. It's going to be a hard decision whether I return just for the asparagus sandwich with salami too or if I can make my way through trying every item on their menu!

This small Deli is hidden in the streets of Dovercourt. The chicken sandwich was an absolute deliciousness. It was sour and pickled with micro greens and herbs. It was everything and a good cup of tea. It was a really good sandwich, I couldn’t be bothered with takin a good photo. I was in a hurry to put it all in my stomach

A cute little corner with fantastic sandwiches and a bunch of other things! Pastries, soft serve, drinks, snacks, etc. We got the chicken salad and mortadella sandwiches. Both were delicious.

Cute corner for pantry goods, pastries, coffee, and snacks. Reasonable prices with a nicely curated selection. Came for the bostock, but eyed the cerignola olives and will get a better look at their cured meats next time. Owned by Bernhardt’s across the way.

Order: Brekky Bun Salami, baked egg, smoked cheddar, spicy aioli on a bun your mom made. A little kick. Worth traveling across the city to try it out Can be for dinner or breakfast. Come hungry.

Picked up one of their salads to go the cucumber dukkah which also had chickpeas, cauliflower, and labneh and wow - so much flavour, texture, and freshness! I couldnt stop eating it...and they packed a lot into the small size container too. Will definitely have to come back to try the sandwiches which sounded amazing too.
