Tasty chicken and not over salty like a couple other Nashville hot chicken spots I've been. Spice level isn't burn your head off but in a good way. It was hot enough to get the heat but still allowed me to enjoy the meal. The breading is super crispy. My 4 year old daughter got the chicken tender style dish. She loved it. The garlic curly fries were very good. They also have self-serve Canada dry ginger ale which is always a plus. Great addition to the neighborhood.
Super yummy! I’m not the biggest fried chicken person but this really hit the spot! We got the Nashville spicy chicken sandwich and the bites! Very very spicy so be careful! The chicken was so fresh, crispy, juicy, and cooked just right! The bun was so soft. The staff was nice and helpful when ordering. The restaurant itself has a great vibe with some cool signage and is very clean. Pretty reasonably priced as well!
Great chicken sandwiches here. We both had excellent chicken sandwiches at Ghost. Both The OG and the Nashville hot were excellent. Now, if you’re looking for breast meat, you’re not finding it here. But these sandwiches really kick. The Nashville is only for those who can handle the heat. I added some slaw to it, made it perfect, imo. The fries were also excellent, trying regular and garlic curly. The garlic were surprisingly excellent, just the right amount of garlic and salt. One small let down… the a fountain drinks suck. Just the standard Coke/Canada Dry fare, with the same choices you would have found 50 years ago. You can do better here. All in all, a very competitive choice amongst the busy fried chicken sandwich choices in Toronto. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Clean store and friendly staff. Can only recommend the sandwich though. The chicken sandwich was good. I got the og chicken sandwich. The hot sauce was just the regular Louisiana hot sauce. The rating goes down BC of its price and also fries. The fries were not fresh and you get a very small portion. Also, avoid the smashed potatoes.
I loved the experience here at Ghost chicken. The staff is so warm and welcoming, but also slinging out great tasting chicken. I got the OG and the Sweet and Sour and I'd say you can't go wrong with either. The Sweet and Sour specifically has a Filipino twist to it and is unlike anything else in the city. We also got the Nashville hot ice cream to end it off which is the perfect balance of sweetness, heat, and savouryness and is a must have. This place is great.
Ghost Chicken is an upmarket take-out restaurant, with top-notch customer service. The OG and Nashville burger were both indulgently delicious, but my personal preference was the Nashville burger, with its balance of sourness from the pickles. The Nashville and garlic curly fries were addictive. One thing to note is that the spicy levels of the dishes were a tad exaggerated. The "Hot" level was more on the mild side, so if you're a fan of spicy food, don't hesitate to go for the "Fire" level.
I ordered takeout and my order was the original chicken Sandwhich Mild heating. Once I recieved my order you can see and notice how big the size of the meat it. Upon first bite you can feel the heat of seasoning, the sandwhich is tender and juicy and on each bite you want to try more. The sauce complements the sandwhich and the curly fries are done just right. Any body who is near this area or can order I would recommend the Ghost Chicken.
I’ve had ghost chicken twice in Mississauga and wanted to try the location in downtown Toronto. The food didn’t disappoint. We got the original burgers and the garlic curly fries. Everything tasted great.
Haven’t had tasty and fresh fried chickens for long time! I got Nashville lollipops with fries. I was really spicy but super delicious.
Went over to try the OG special today, and despite the place being pretty packed, the customer service was amazing! The person behind the counter patiently shared what was going on + suggested what I could order being my first visit. I got the Mild OG chicken sandwich, since theirs is apparently a little spicier than other chicken sandwich spots. Not the best picture, but the meat was juicy & packed with flavour. The crispy batter had a great crunch sound, and the garlic curly fries were really good too! Scary good indeed!
