Viking Hotel Chinese Restaurant

Excellent very clean and tidy hotel breakfast was lovely and the staff were exceptionally nice. Had a lovely chat with the guy on the front desk a really nice guy with a very clean and tidy hotel. The bed was comfortable and the bath room was ample in size and again spic and span. We had a lovely pleasant relaxing stay in all oh and the parking was great too. To the rear off the building private parking excellent service. Thankyou very much blessings to all of you.

Good price. Would prefer cooked breakfast to be buffet style, but it is cooked fresh but small. Large clean room. Good shower and TV reception. Parking on site . Fridge was ideal in the hot weather and the fan was needed. Would recommend a stay here and would stay again if in the area.

Although the room was nice, decent view of the London skyline from our window, nice shower and very good toilet flush pressure, the walls might as well have been made out of paper, you could hear everything that was going on all around you, and I mean everything people get up to some really weird things at night So because of that I had a horrible nights sleep both nights purely because I was kept awake by slamming doors, people talking in the corridors and in their rooms, and loud staff. No wifi, even though they say they do, and their idea of 24 hour access is just keeping the front and back door wide open, with no staff on the reception, so any old stranger could just walk in. Not very safe at all.

Very reasonably priced, only 4 stops by bus from Stratford, very clean and spacious room with private bathroom, kettle, tea/coffee. Very pleasantly surprised. Totally recommend.Rooms: 5/5

**Bed Bugs**Horribly Bad Experience - stay away Please stay away from this place, only if you like to take **Bed Bugs**with you. We had the worst ever life experience in my life. We have visited every European country in last 15 years but staying in this hotel was worst. They money you pay for your stay is too much for the services provided. This was total waste of money. I would rather recommend to look for some other place then this one. First the promised Twin room was not provided and then the room provided was full of **Bed Bugs**. My bad that I didn’t looked for the **Bed Bugs** carefully and only discovered on our last day before check out. My both sons were bitten by the **Bed Bugs**, and we have counted 25 spots on their bodies. First we thought it is an allergy but later found out no it was **Bed Bugs**. Please see attached pictures. I could not stand in that room more so I have not took more pictures. I have to get professional help for the cleaning of luggage and cloths because these were exposed to the **Bed Bugs**. The property manager has promised that he will give back some money for compensation but up-to now, I have not received any reply nor the money back from the Viking hotel. The rooms were very dirty, as someone written before only electricity and water was running that’s it. If you like to sleep on beds full of **Bed bugs** you are very welcome in this place.

Dirty sheets but no acceptance, no apology, poor customer service and lie after lie. Owner accused me of lying about the sheets, because I didn't raise it as soon as I checked in checked in at 17:30 straight out to a gig, back at 23:50, asked for a fan at front desk as ours wasn't working when we got in, at 00:00 noticed sheets were dirty, took a picture and straight back down to reception, got sheets from night porter as owner now not around but accused by owner in the morning of coming down at 02:00 to complain so it must of been us that dirtied the sheets, even though he wasn't there and I could show the time stamp of my photo. I shouldn't have to inspect the room on check in, it should be provided in a clean state. Lying about the way to obtain a refund and raise a complaint, clearly just an attempt to get us to leave with then no way to rectify it. Checked with Booking.com on the phone who confirmed this was not the process and the hotel needs to handle it directly. Made to wait 10mins with yet more lies that he was waiting for booking.com all while actually on the phone to them with the lady experiencing exactly what was happening first hand, adding to her complaint. Purely an attempt at a power play making us wait. No straight answers to any question. Shouted we weren't getting a full refund when there was multiple people around me who could agree I'd never once asked for that I just said I don't believe the discount offered was fair. A double room was advertised for £60-£125 stated on the board behind him - we paid £120 and were offered a 10% discount - paying £108 for the same room offered at £60 with the cleanliness and service provided is not on. Below average service should be reflected in a below average rate £90 or below would of been acceptable. Pros: bed was comfy once we had clean sheets...

Decent hotel for the price. Free parking. Ideal for working away. Plugs next to bed. Mini fridge and a fan which was nice in the heat. Room was clean except the fan. Bed was comfy.Rooms: 4/5

I have had a very nice stay at Viking Hotel. The place is clean and welcoming, easy to find and the safe parking at the back is great. The reception staff were absolutely brilliant, helpful, accommodating and supporting the guest's needs. I definitely recommend this place and will be booking again for my next trip.

It is a good location and very close to the Elizabeth line stations. This takes you straight to Liverpool street in about 20min. You can walk to Maryland station which is about a 10-15min walk. You can also take the bus to Stratford station from the front of the hotel. Parking can be booked and they have a secure parking system and this is gated. We were given the motel rooms outside and my car was parked right outside the room. The breakfast is free and it is part buffet and part ordered on a fixed menue. Stratford shopping malls westfield are a stone's throw away. You could easily negotiate with the reception to leave your car there on the last day and make another trip to London. Overall a budget hotel, customer friendly, good location with free parking and breakfast.

The room and bathroom were clean but the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was freshly cooked but service was hectic; it was unusual to have to queue up and have the order shouted through to the kitchen.Rooms: 3/5
