Vietnam Kitchen

Called in an order today for pickup. Love giving the restaurant all the profit, I don't even have a Skip the Dishes or Urber Eats account. This place is near my PT gig and is located in a small Stripe mall. It's almost hidden if you didn't know it was there. Love the outdoor seating area and would be a nice break to enjoy lunch there in the summer. Inside is quaint and welcoming. Was greeted with a friendly hello and my food was waiting for me. Ordered the Satay Shrimp and Green Onion cakes. Love the added sauces I got with both along with the hot broth and shrimp. At just $4.45 for two full Green Onion Cakes, what a steal of a price. They were crispy on the outside and chewy on the inside. I will keep them in mind for my next craving!

Nice clean spot for a quick lunch. Server was friendly and efficient. The meat had a nice sweet char to it from the grill. Everything was fresh. The iced coffee was too sweet it reminded me of a Tim Horton’s ice cappuccino.

Pretty average food, not much flavour in our pho and vermicelli bowl. The meat quality in the vermicelli bowl was really good and wasn't too fatty. Pho was good enough and scalding hot a good thing but looked a bit depressing. Spring rolls and salad rolls were decent. Not sure what's up with the Vietnamese coffee as they brought it out already brewed and in a glass with ice. It tasted off and I would guess it was pre-packaged. I would avoid this unless they bring out the stainless steel filter and allow the coffee to drip into a mug. On a positive note, the service was really good, our waitress was very friendly. The big bonus about Vietnam Kitchen is the operating hours. They are literally the only Vietnamese restaurant on the west side that is open past 8-9pm. Being open till 10:30 is a huge win for a late night craving. I'm certain I'll be back for some late night pho.

Ordered Three Colour & Iced Vietnamese Espresso. As always the Iced coffee is delicious and drank it within minutes. As for The Three Colour plate, everything was delicious just wished that the sauce wasn't so sweet. Will try out different dishes next time

For a place in a commercial area of the west end that’s open till 1030 at night most nights I am very impressed! They don’t offer all of the traditional Vietnamese goodness like fatty flank and type in your special pho, but they make up for it with incredible beef sauté soup and a curry soup that’s just to die for. Their spring rolls are really small, but I very much enjoy the style. Salad rolls also on point.

First time ordering this on Skipthedish. I ordered the Seafood Pho and it was delicious! The quality of the seafood was great except for the obvious frozen squid. It was a bit chewy but not the worst I've had. The shrimp were huge and the scallops were cooked perfectly. We also had the pork spring rolls as an appetizer. They were so flavourful and super crunchy. Definitely tasted homemade. I will definitely be ordering again!

Omg! I cant stop! I luv vietnamese food and i ordered a lot from many different places. Ive got a very sensitive stomach and i got pain in my stomach in other places but this restaurant i do not have pain and the food is so so so tasty that i keep order thru skip the dishes!!!!!

On uber eats and skip - they have vegan options. Look for "vegan by vietnam kitchen." It's the best food out I've ever had Vegetarian options: If everyone are this food, the world would be vegan. It's simply the most delicious food. Thank you!

First time trying this place. Great food. Ordered pickup for later in the day and it was ready right on time. We got some satay tofu and veggie soup. Will be back many times as we work our way through the menu.
