Basil Box

A wonderful experience, amazing service, and delicious food! This was my first time trying Basil Box and I will definitely be back. They kindly helped me through the process of ordering and even provided some advice for how to make it the best dish. It was so wonderful! I built my own dish but they also provide some options of pre-built mixes if you don’t want to choose. I also had it with a Thai Iced Tea, which was the perfect amount of refreshing to have with my box. Also, if you’re looking for a delicious, flavourful, and spicy sauce, try the Penang Curry you can mix in some Classic Peanut for a great flavour mix if you want to tone down the spice a bit.

Basil Box continues to provide some of best food I can find at City Center. High Fiber is one of the tastiest dishes! Highly recommend Basil Box to anyone as the service and food is fantastic!Food: 5/5

Customer service was excellent at the Edmonton City Centre location and the price point is great. Both staff on hand were very helpful and offered great suggestions and assisted me in navigating the building a box process. The flavours were excellent. I had a 1/2 salad 1/2 brown rice base with lemon grass chicken and grilled peppers and edamame veggies. For the sauce I had 1/3 curry and 2/3 peanut satay and added pickled veggies on top. This was EXCELLENT!! This will be my new go to for healthier lunch options on the go. Vegetarian options: very easy to choose delicious vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: vegan, vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free options are available.

This is the best place to grab a healthy and delicious lunch. The staff is also very friendly. The only thing they can improvise is addition of more food items on the menu. Addition of fast food and soft drinks would be great so this can become a go to place even for cheat days. They also do not have soups. All their food items are rice based. Overall food is awesome.

I had the mango rose basil seed green tea. It was really good and refreshing, it was made on the spot really quick after I ordered it.

Great experience! Service was helpful and polite, and food was delicious! I like to eat healthy but am a picky eater as well so being able to build my own box was perfect! They mixed two sauces together for me as the worker recommended and let me sample it to make sure I liked it before putting it on my food.

Food was delicious and I liked the build-a-box style of ordering. The man preparing my food was welcoming and offered suggestions which was helpful. I also got the mango rose tea which was awesome and refreshing!! This is a great place to go for a healthy lunch, and it satisfied my dietary needs which can be hard to find dairy and wheat-free.

Ordered the chili lime shrimp through DoorDash. The food was dry, not enough sauce and the shrimp is tiny you can tell it’s low quality. Terrible

First time trying this place and it was fantastic. Such great customer service from Harsh. He took the time to walk us through the menu and gave us excellent recommendations. Fresh ingredients and well balanced flavors!
