I enjoyed the walk starts from Victoria Park and walked all the way to Emily Murphy Park.
Super great for skating during the day. The last few times have gone between 5pm-8pm on Tuesday and Thursday nights, the rink has been closed for speed skaters. It is usually very busy and hard to find parking, and the lights on the path have burnt out a couple times. When it is all open, it’s beautiful though! People are friendly, no hockey sticks allowed so it is perfect for people who just want to enjoy skating without people playing hockey getting in the way and knocking you over! The rink is very well-kept, but the path is very sloppy. The ice feels like it has never been zambonied and snow keeps falling on it, making it very difficult to skate on and we see people wiping out on it constantly. The microphone by the rink is very fun, makes it feel like you are in a movie but is very crackly so hopefully you like the old-movie vibe because you can’t hear the music very clearly haha
Nice weather and ice skating here
Really nice place to spend your evening skating with the family! There's few different ice rinks that makes it more convenient for different skating skills levels. There are also fire pits available all over if you like to roast some marshmallows.
A great place for picnic and relaxing. It is a big, beautiful and huge area for walking and relaxing. They allow you to bring in bouncing castle for children and you can reserve the picnic sites. The only downside for me is the limited parking area compared to other parks like Kinsmen Park. For barbecue, there is a small store close by where you can get some stuffs though quite expensive as expected. A great experience all the same.
I love this park. It was my first time visit and i had great time. Has a huuuge skating rink with narrow paths too. Picnic tables are available too.
I love this green space right in Edmonton. XC sking and skating availble. Access is pedestrian friendly. Wonderful space for everyone to enjoy.
One of the nicer parks in the city. Right along the river just east of Groat Road... has ice skating in the winter and various activities in the summer.
It is a very nice and well maintained park. It has a lot of parking but does get full from time to time. It has washrooms and garbage cans at regular intervals. Would definitely suggest for anyone who wants to go out for a day.
Went to this park to celebrate Aboriginal day. The park was beautiful with lot's of old growth and Victoria golf course wrapping around it providing some of the most beautiful views of the Edmonton river valley. There is a lot of walking/biking tails around this park!!! With some free public parking!
