This is really a beautiful park. At night there are cute lighting ornamentations scattered throughout, and there is always a stunning view facing south. The park can get busy with fitness types, since there is a long staircase that people use to work out on. There is plenty of room for everyone however, and you can park in the Grandin neighbourhood adjacent if you are driving here. Really cool view of the university as well as the high level and pedestrian bridges. Looking west you see the silhouette of the high rises along Victoria promenade and Jasper avenue. A great place to visit during Spring, Summer, Fall, or winter!
Beautiful view of the valley. Great place to work out with 200 stairs!! Nice benchs with a gazebo area!
A great place to sit and look out over the river valley; watch people doing "the stairs" or simply taking in the beauty of nature. I find it one of those places many people visit but rarely pause to take in how spectacular it is. If you find yourself on a walking tour of Edmonton, this is a place I would highly recommend to add to your list!
Nice little park right beside the High Level Bridge. Great views of the North Saskatchewan River. There is always lots of activity at this park as it connects with the river valley trail system. Plus there is a stairway that is used by many for exercise. More important this park honours fallen Edmonton police officers in the line of duty. I definitely recommend coming here for a visit.
A beautiful, quiet park with the most wonderful view of the river valley. Ample seating to take in the view or to share a coffee with a friend. A lovely gem.
Beautiful views! It's very clean and security is on point. The grounds are well kept and just really nice to walk, bike or hangout at.
It's a beautiful trail right in the middle of the city! There are so many options for trials you could take, from the easy one by the North Saskatchewan river to the adventurous trials less traveled by. It's a refreshing little hike, ideal for just a light walk with your dog or an off road bike ride
Probably the smallest park with the best views in Alberta. But don't let it's size fool you. A must visit for everyone.
Beautiful place for photography and walks, visited for the first time today and it was a wonderful experience.
Beautiful park! It has fantastic view of the river valley and bridges plus it's just nice to walk around and enjoy nature. It's a park so close to Downtown Edmonton but you don't feel like you are, it's peaceful.
