Fairly new restaurant bar, from how they made it sound, it's very good, total class joint with a casual feel. Customers seemed to be enjoying themselves and total professionals serving the food and drinks. We got the fried artichokes and muscles in a coconut curry broth, very good but the muscles were tiny. The artichoke garlic dipping stuff had too much mayo but was mostly tasty.
As a bar it's cool. 5 stars as a bar... but 3 stars as a restaurant. Thus an overall 4 star review as a compromise. The drinks are cool, the bar is cool, but don't expect to be blown away by the food. The food isn't bad... I had the meatball paying and the chicken paying and mussels and fries and...everything was pretty average.
Great ambiance and really creative menu including cute and delicious specialty cocktails. Their list of small plates is long, and after many visits I have yet to find one I didn't like.
So I am hooked on this place. We have visited 3 times since July 4. Each time ordering different plates and our only flub was a panini and fries that came out a bit cold. Our server happily and apologetically replaced it with a perfectly cooked filet mignon panini and fries. Both hot and delicious as has been the case with everything we have tried. Highly recommend the Brussel Sprouts with the truffle honey and pancetta ahhh!!! sweet and salty, Brussels wepre roasted just right. Vegetarian options: Enough veggie choices to keep most people happy. This is a small plates service restaurant with good simple foods done well. Some with little twists on the original, but nothing done too over the top. Kid-friendliness: By the looks of this place you would think not, but the kids thoroughly enjoyed their meals again their menu does food in a simple yet quite classy way and our server had no problems with their requests. Parking: Its downtown New Haven, so parking is easy to find in the garages and parking lots close by. If you are street parking, then it can be a bit tougher, but spots are always opening up unless its Friday or Saturday night. Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of seating for wheelchairs both inside and outside. Dietary restrictions: They were able to change ingredient items on 2 dishes for our table and both tasted very good still. They are doing things right back in the kitchen at this eatery.
Drinks and food was bombbbb!!!! Cash, a$$, and lemongrass is the one w money in it, so delicious I could have a few of those QUICK! The smoke show is the one that has a dubbie lighted, it’s made of sage…a little on the spicy side for me! The food was a great-beet salad & lobster ravioli is what I had!!! Would highly recommend, also loved the staff working the rehearsal dinner party I was at on June 10th, the server was personable and quick. I wish I remembered her name, but she had some arm tattoos and was super friendly, thanks again!
Amazing experience drinks really good and innovative, love the presentation. Food very tasty and flavors right on. Chimichurry the closest to the original flavor I have ever had in a restaurant and empanadas delicious. Tacos the milanesa the best of the 3. Great experience overall. We recommend 100%
Very interesting venue. Small plates are delicious. Only problem is the seating at some of the tables…you would have to go to understand. They are stools attached that swing out from under the table. There’s no place to put your feet. So people who don’t have very long legs end up standing most of the time otherwise you will have a sore back by the end of your meal.
Don’t come here if you plan to sit down and eat. They allow the door to remain open while customers dine. It’s freezing and people eat with their coats on and rush out of here. You can see how fast the place cleared out in the dining area because the door remained open! Do not come here to sit down and eat! We asked the managers and staffs to keep the door closed while other customers overheard and asked the same requests and they did nothing about it. Your food gets cold and so will you!

Drinks are pretty good but priced a bit high , pricing on food is fair but should be more of a selection , I ordered chicken Parm that tasted ok but it could've been better ,also wasn't enough pasta for an entree . Food came out really fast made me curious if it was microwaved ,follow me on IG and DM me and I'll be glad to give u details or some restaurant suggestions.
