Family Mediterranean Pizza

Service is exceptional, and that’s hard to find these days. Refreshing to be greeted kindly and handled with such kindness. The pepperoni pizza was delicious. Crust was perfect as well. Not burnt, or too hard! Great amount of sauce too. 10/10!

This place has the most amazing pizza I have ever had. I am originally from Chicago, and moved to the East Coast for work. I tend to like East Coast Pizza in general compared to Chicago deep dish. I was told that New Haven Connecticut had the best pizza in America and after traveling there several times I’m absolutely certain that is true. I’ve been to all the big eateries in New Haven including Pepe’s and Zenelis And this place is so much better than both of them. Try the lamb Shawarma pizza it’s probably the best pizza that I’ve ever had in my life, and I am a big pizza either. My wife also is a big fan of Chicago deep dish and even she agrees that this is the best pizza that she’s ever had in her life. My mother who is a very picky eater worse than a toddler, even agreed that this is some of the best pizza she’s ever had. If you come to New Haven this is the place you should be eating pizza, and please try the lamb Shawarma pizza it’s so unique and tasty I’m sure you guys will all love it. Also the owners are amazing and humble people, they always make you feel welcome and their prices are very reasonable. Their menu is very vast, and I love all of the Middle Eastern dishes. I haven’t had many of the subs however all of the food that I’ve had on multiple occasions has always been amazing. I highly recommend them and hope you all enjoy it as much as we have. We actually live in Philadelphia and initially found this place while traveling to Maine, and have been coming back many times just to eat there as the food is so good. Keep up the great work, God bless this great establishment. It is also right across the street from Yale New Haven Hospital so it’s very easy to find and is a very popular spot for take out.

Good food, mainly chicken shawarma and baba ghanoush made with roasted eggplant and tahini paste. Chicken Shawarma was juicy and tender. Very crispy Falafel. Chicken kabab was also good but with fewer pieces. The french fries portions were great. Lamb shawarma was a little dry. Baklava was filled with too much cinnamon, very strange. Recently, there is a huge surge in price. Not worth the current price. Working staffs changed as well, who are not good at cooking. Served us smelly chicken and undercooked falafel.

Absolutely fantastic. These guys have the fundamentals down pat: excellent, authentic food, customer centric service, and very reasonable prices. The lentil soup is the best in the city. These guys will quickly and effectively cure any mediterranean/arabic food craving. What are you waiting for?!

The shawarma pizza is fantastic and absolutely unique. The dough and ingredients are distinctly New Haven. Worth a try, top 3 pizzas in New Haven.

I work in a nearby laboratory. Every time I finish my experiments late at night I would order some food here. I usually call in and they can prepare very fast, within 10 minutes in average, which is really good for me cauz working continuously for more than 5 hrs makes me exhausted and urgently looking for re-fueling. The food is with high quality at least for me, and according to my friends price is fair.

This place has amazing food and the portions are generous. The different types of specialty pizzas are great in taste and they have a huge menu selection. The staff are nice and the place is clean. Definitely worth a try! Will be coming back again.

One of the best, if not the best, Shawarma I’ve ever had. The chicken was incredibly fresh and tender.

Amazing Mediterranean food! Forget the pizza! Go for Lahm Bajjin spiced meat pie, mujjadara lentils or amazing Kibbeh! My favourites are classics like hummus or baba Ghannouj. Also love foul mdammas and falafel picture below:
