One of the more refined dining options in Yale area, the place is almost always full as it serves lovely Italian dishes with friendly and warm service. The meatballs is reputed to be a state winning dish. Everything we ordered was incredibly well made and delicious. Truly a treasure of a restaurant.

We recently started coming here and what a great find! Nino, the owner and his partner work in tandem to give their customers a great experience. The food is so fresh and the restaurant was very clean. They make their own pasta and desserts. We have told all of our friends and clients like

Calamari appetizer was delicious and had a spicy kick to it. Also had the shrimp carbonara, which was creamy and very filling. Staff were helpful and attentive. Overall good spot for a nice cozy dinner.

The food is constantly well prepared and yummy, workers hands out excellent service. I like the cleanliness and character. I highly recommend this spot.

We like a lot to go out. Last night we found this fine restaurant which friends told us about. We spent a beautiful experience there with superb dishes and a professional crew and a talented cuisine. We put this place in our phone list and we will definitely come back very soon. We deeply recommend.

Basta is one of our celebration or special event restaurants. It's just too good to waste on a mundane night. The pasta is fresh and well sauced. The entrees are carefully considered and well-executed. The staff is friendly and efficient. Each course of your meal is a delight
