Story

Elm City Social opened in July 2015 and is located inside the historic building that once housed Kasey's Restaurant in the early 1900's. Situated across the street from the famed Shubert Theater, Taft Hotel building, and just off the New Haven Green. Elm City Social with its skilled cocktail program specializes in craft and skill with bartenders who evoke the spirit of the pre-prohibition era. Chef John Brennan and his kitchen are serving both quality interpretations of classic dishes and daring new food adventures.

Good food and  a relaxing place...

Has very much become our go too since moving to the area. The food is great, the portions are healthy, and the drinks are delicious. Definitely reccomend Elm City to anyone asking.

Really great restaurant to go to n chill n  grab a bite to eat. The atmosphere is lay back the bartenders,servers r very friendly...had a great time there tonight.n will recommend to anyone

Went with a group of 5 to sit outside - the staff was super accommodating to bring two tables together and do separate checks for all of us. The rubber ducky cocktail is amazing, and I say that as a non gin person! Food was also great :

Great brunch burger @ this place! The only thing I didn't like was the smell of cigarettes/smoke inside.
