The place could benefit from some updates and improvements to make it more comfortable and visually appealing. I also noticed that some similar items have different prices, and a few products seem overpriced compared to the market.nnI believe the store could really revitalize the market by offering strong promotions, especially during January and February, as customers during these months truly deserve attractive deals that encourage shopping.nnThank you for your efforts, and please accept my feedback.
If you care about sustainability, here you will find a great place to bring what you want to exchange, purchase new parts, and all of this with quality and a fair price. We always find what we need and leave happy to live in a sustainable economy that makes a difference.
This used to be my favourite stop to thrift at, but in the last year, I’ve noticed an insane markup in prices for very average items. A lot of fast fashion brands priced the same as they’d be sold in box stores. A lot of the items on the racks have holes, broken zippers, large stains, and yet are still marked at $8 and up. I used to enjoy taking the time to go through all the aisles, and have found great pieces in the past, but now I often leave disappointed and empty handed. Thrifting was always supposed to be the affordable option for everyone to enjoy, but I don’t find that this is the case here. I’d recommend shopping at smaller/ independently owned thrift stores in the future that actually care about the community/ give back to the community.
Prolly the best VV I’ve ever been to. Lots of higher quality items.nStill no change rooms which is lame but they did have lots of good clothes and shoes.nUnfortunately I paid for a pair of shoes and only took one with me. If you see my shoe there please let me know. It will be very lonely without its matching shoe and my feet in them.
If you’ve got time to look for clothing then the prices are fantastic. Keep in mind that Value Village is a for profit business so if you think your donating to a charity you are mistaken. If you want to donate to a charity the try Goodwill. That being said this location in St Albert is one of the better Value Villages and the largest. It’s clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and helpful. My wife and son found good deals on clothing and so did I. You will look through hundreds of clothing items and find one or two items but it is worth it. Besides clothing there are other used household items from dishes to small appliances and books and toys and piles of other knick knacks. Be prepared to spend an hour or two looking.
