Value Village is a great place to check out for things of interest, surprising what you will find. Sometimes the prices seem a bit higher then they used to be but Tuesday is seniors day so it helps offset the prices. Staff are always pleasant and friendly. Check it out to see what you can find, we have found real treasures from time to time. We have found replacement electrical cords and little things that we were unable to find anywhere else., can be fun and addictive at times.
I was so impressed to meet a young woman who very recently relocated to Canada from the Ukraine and was working the till at this Value Village. She was so cheerful and gracious and this in knowing what was happening back home in her Country. I thought about how I get upset when grocery store lines are too long, or when traffick lights seem to last forever. Here is this young woman who has just had her life uprooted by war and is serving others so cheerfully at this Value Village. I am so happy that Value Village has employed this young woman. I hope we being the free and rich nation that we are can continue to help those in need. Praise God. This visit to Value Village proved to be very humbling indeed. Thank you to this brave young woman and to Value Village for all you do! God bless you.
There was a plane bread bathrobe that they were asking 29.99 for so $30 it was plain red the only reason they put it at $30 was because the tag said Victoria’s Secret if that take was cut off that robe would have been listed at 599 it’s funny because I had a different value Village location a way cuter robe which I did end up getting that was Victoria’s Secret was only 7.99 so they should be careful on their prices same with a plain Nike shirt it was like $20 somethings are priced good some aren’t honestly the pricing is a hit or miss but not gonna lie besides some pricing things being whack I do find a lot of cute stuff at this location it’s probably my favourite location for drifting and I probably have found A lot of my favourite finds compared to other locations dislocations baskets are decently clean. Also the workers are very nice and friendly and complement you the ones I’ve been in contact with also they will engage in small talk with you and genuinely seem to be real and friendly opposed to fake and only talking to you because they have to so I really like this location overall four out of five stars the only thing that could be improved is the prices being a hit or miss also I haven’t really seen it that much this location but be careful when tagging Certain materials and bras the tag puncher should always be in a thread or on the inside I’ve Botton stuff from other value villages that once I cut the tag off there’s a hole and it direct from it being tagged on the wrong spot I’ve seen it a few times in the bra section esp on sport bra bands which is the worse I bought a Calvin sports bra from a diff location and it was tagged on the band material and it left a hole in it so when I noticed a few at this location on the rack that were also hole punched in that spot it made me sad because it kinda wrecks the item so a good idea is to always tag on stitching, the tag or the inside my English isn’t the best so sorry for typos X
I wish the children books were a set price $2 is reasonable per book , the pricing for kids books is all over the place. From $1.99 to $15!!! The store has some very friendly and helpful staff. They always have great selection of everything.
Yeah, nice selection and a pretty good thrift store, except it's not so thrifty anymore.. Way toooo much $$ for free donated items.. Sadly it is a bit cheaper than new but way out of reach for the people who really need these kind of stores. Remember, Non profit doesn't mean they don't make money.. Value village is BIG BUSINESS.
This is a pretty great Value Village location. Several times I have found pretty valuable vintage items here for a super cheap price. It's probably my go to Value Village. I had written a review a couple of years ago and at the time it was not well kept in terms of cleanliness and organization, however it has gotten better for sure.
This particular VV is so delightfully well organized it blew my mind! The staff were very pleasant as well as present in each department : Some of the best second hand offerings I've seen in recent times as well!
Lots of good selection, including Halloween costumes. They don't have changing rooms but you can return items for refund if you keep the receipt and rags on the clothes.
Way too overpriced now a days. It doesn't matter if it's missing parts of it, doesn't matter if it's gross and dirty. It will be overpriced for what it is. You never get the good feeling that you have when you find a good deal because you're paying what it would be on ebay. Might aswell buy new stuff that are on sale or go to Facebook marketplace.
This was my first time in this particular store. It's a very big store and it was very busy, maybe due to christmas shoppers looking for a deal. There's lots of parking available but you may need to drop grandma off at the door and pick her up!!
