Very expensive compared to other thrift stores. Vinyl record albums, compact discs and dvd's are not checked for quality as many are trashed / scratched beyond playable. Please donate elsewhere church thrift store on church street where prices are kept reasonable.
Sure was good before they had removed the change rooms and now makes for a back and forth of return especially upon pants ... shirts, coats and shoes one can try right on the spot, but definitely not so with jeans, lol. I've worn the same size for decades, yesterday had picked up two pairs and they're a good 2 inches tooo small, sizes have changed over the years, my weight not so much, now back to the store for an exchange, an extra stop I would appreciate not having to make considering being a full time caregiver with limited free time available to me.
Dollar store items being sold for more than what would be brand new! Donated items in housewares being sold for more than expected value. If your till is closed ask them to open it! Multiple staff members standing around watching you scan your own items. Over staffed, over priced donated items!
Great selection of kids items and women's aswell. Fantastic customer service from the cashier aswell . Oh and lalalove their beautiful reusable shopping bags!!!!! And very strong and durable they are too !!!
Probably one of the best Value Village stores around. Inside is kept clean and has a good atmosphere compared to most locations. Prices are fair and usually find what I am looking for. Staff are helpful.
Very dusty and very expensive for used items to be resold. Some stuff like dollarstore items are priced higher than the dollarstore price, clothing that are brand names are too over priced , when you can buy the same thing brand new is cheaper.... purses and wallets too over priced, go to Winners /Homesense is way better in price for brand name and newer products. This store is for profit...and I hope people check there priced items before going there thinking you got a great deal on your items look again... I only see new stuff there at Value Village is socks and mittens , used to be a great place for used items , but not nowadays expensive than before!! People who are on low income are getting ripped off...go to the Chruch Thift shop or Goodwill or check out 3 stores in Stony Plain area and see the difference in price and quality of goods are better and cheaper, charity goes to charity non-for profit....
Great place to get gently used close at a great place. Staff is always friendly and willing to help.
A bad place to work Shari Maxwell is the worst manager. They’ll fire you for the smallest reason but keep certain people because of favouritism. Worked for there for 5 years and got let go but yet they make a girl quit so she can go on vacation but can reapply when she gets back and she’ll be hired again. It’s not fair when I’m so invested in my job & the company. Loyal for 5 years & I get treated like nothing. Shari maxwell needs to be fired. Heartless human being or whatever you are!!!
Prices are up to Mars. Quality in the toilet. What disappointing experience. Not into this kinda thing.
Always lots of items ,what your looking for probley ,if you think your going to need item later ,buy it if you leave it ,not there when you come back, darn.!!!.kids toy row ,tornado. Some rows with glass stuff should have outer edges to hold them in place ,smash. Section shoping ,good .
