Unsatisfied with customer service. I went in and found the workers unpleasant and it felt like such a chore to get help and felt very judged. Manager was not very welcoming and overall a bad experience for me. I would never wanna work in a workplace like this. Hopefully the atmosphere gets better and this has happened numerous times unfortunately with lack of help from staff and just bad attitudes from a lot of the employees.
TLDR, Do not buy a bike from this place , someone could be seriously hurt.nSpruce Grove Sport CheknSo, got a bike in late September for my bday from the kids.nI don't know alot about bikes but the pictures show how I got it and this year when I went to ride it again. It sat dormant for the winter , and went to ride it this year and the handle bars are no longer attached. I see now that it was assembled so wrong and the tension must have given way.nnSeriously ridden 5 times.nNo longer have a receipt. Have pictures of how i bought it, and how it is now.nCheck out the headset assembly !!! Almost looks like it was glued in backwards I'm surprised that sport Chek is a grade below Canadian tire on bike purchases. Don't even know if this is fixable. So upset
I go there for the bike servicing. Best tech support guy in the city.nThe store is another matter. Bike shop needs a separate door to the outside. You have to wade through loaded carts of clothing to get to the shop. It's ridiculous. The store is too small or too loaded with inventory. Not good.
Very disappointed in the lack of customer service. I went to the Spruce Grove location. I wanted to buy a new pair of runners. They only had 1 pair left in my size.nnIt was very obvious that the runners were either used or dirty from being tried on. I asked if I could get a discount, because of dirt & was told no. It will just wipe off.nnI don’t want to pay full price for something that is dirty. I left the store without buying the shoes and will buy them from somewhere else.
A very clean store but limited staff and products. I was in there for 30 mins and not one person acknowledged me so customer service could have been much better. Watch your step going into this store as the concrete out front has been a tripping hazard for years and still has yet to be fixed. In fact most of the stores on this plaza have this safety issue. If you have limited mobility or less you may want to go somewhere that will consider your health and safety as this place clearly doesn’t care.
