Judging from the reviews people seem to really like this place but it's my least favorite Value Village in all of Hamilton. It's always packed with people and despite of the size of the parking lot the parking situation is pretty tight. The selection of the store is decent but unless you visit early in the morning everything gets picked through right away. The weekends are insanely busy and unless you get to the store early in the morning on the weekday you're going to have to deal with a lot of other people walking around. For some reason this is also the stinkiest store in the city. I always have to wash anything I pick up from here twice to get rid of that Value Village scent. If you're visiting from downtown and need public transportation to reach the location than this should be okay. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend heading to the Waterdown or Ancaster locations - those are the best ones in the city!

I come here often to look at the toys as I am a big collector. They always have clean organised store and fairly nice staff. Prices are sometimes a little too high for items but all in all not a bad store.

Good dust free air quality. Great selection in almost every category. However you should know it is a For Profit establishment.

The best Value Village around, this place is massive! Tonns of antiques and retro homeware. They are halloween professionals, they carry new items seasonally as well. Sometimes u can really luck out if the person pricing didnt know it was a designer clothing. I live for vintage so I drive all over trying to find the most unique items in the city and I have to say a large majority of my vintage collection is from here. Please never go anywhere!

Good store. I only visit value village when they have their 50% off sale. The reason why is cause some of their clothing (men, woman & kids) are over priced. I noticed alot of their clothing is torn, has stains or has holes in/on them & they price it like any other item. Also, I noticed the same item of clothing are priced differently.. so to test the staff out i removed a tag off one of the shirts & when they took it to price it it came back $3 higher than the other shirt.. I questioned the staff who did it & she was like idk why these are different prices. I asked if i could get the 1 she just put a tag on for the same price as the other one & she said no!! I then asked to speak with a manager, but because it was so busy there today & I asked to speak to someone else I did get the shirt for the same price as the other one. I know the staff do their best to price items fairly but every time I've gone in there in the past I see that nothing has changed. Well loved faded clothing is priced at almost new prices where as they should be priced at a 3rd of retail & for example I paid $1.50 ($3) 50% off) for a child brand new looking Puma shirt but a used faded looking shirt in a different size was $4.99 ($9.99) 50% off). Men's athletic track pants at walmart are $12.97 & same price at Giant Tiger.. same/similar brand pants at Value Villiage were priced out at $6.99 & $8.99. Not to mention the 1 pair had holes in the ass & another pair was disgustingly stained. PLEASE! Value village workers.... do ur research on pricing items.. use the internet.. also thoroughly check the clothing for rips, stains, tears & fading & don't put anything out to be sold if it looks like that.. or worse yet if it's dirty & stinks!!! Until then when I need to buy more clothing for my ever growing 6 year old I'll continue to get his stuff or stuff for the rest of my family at salvation army or St Vincent DePaul
