I needed a double bed for our guest room. Kristina Ashman was wonderful. Greeted me right away and was very pleasant to deal with. She was quickly able to show me some options in my price range and point out the pros and cons of each. Did not take long to find what I was looking for and Kristina was very flexible with helping me to arrange a day for pick up that worked for both of us. This was my first time in this store and I will definitely come again.
We were helped by Patrick at the Upper James Hamilton location and the service was the best I have ever had when buying furniture. We had a lot of questions about the mattress and Patrick was informed, helpful and so patient. We don’t normally don’t buy during the same visit when we first start looking, but Patrick made us feel confident and supported. He was fantastic. Thank you.
Patrick Fife was excellent and was able to answer all my questions and made me feel confident on my purchase. He was also very accomodating with my request to place the sectional that I was interested in on hold. Subject to measurement on our entrance and unfortunately our entrance was too narrow to fit the couch on all sides and had to cancel the transaction. However, I will definitely seek him out in the future for another sectional and hopefully one that fits! 10/10 will recommend his service.
We visited the brick to buy a mattress today and ultimately ended up meeting a highly undisciplined staff member at the brick who was a guy aged around in his 50s having Irakian English accent. When we asked basic questions like level of comfort and all and told him that our budget is not more than 1000 he said this is showroom is not for us and started behaving like he was not interested in helping us... He also told us that we need to be rich and should not hunt for the mattress around 1000. I wanted to meet the manager and tell him about the incidence but then I thought to inform other people about the incidence by means of review... We felt terribly bad about his comment...I hope the brick would educate him about this incidence . I hope manager or staff will revert with a good reply in response to this review...
We came looking for dining room chairs and Bryan greeted us as we came in and took us to them. He was very helpful, and let us explore them all staying nearby if we had any questions but no pressure. It was a great shopping experience. We even came back the next day to change our order to a different color but similar style and Bryan was great about it. No problem. Just smiles. Thank you. Update: In store personnel told me not to sign delivery invoice until chairs were unpacked because once I do they do have to take packaging with them. Delivery guys didn't unpack, just shoved receipt at me and when I explained what in-store personnel told me he said they don't unpack chairs. I was refusing to sign when 2nd delivery guy comes back in and says same thing. No discussion, no apologies, no courtesy shown at all. They called 30 seconds before reaching my door, I saw them turn corner as I was hanging up. I guess they wanted me ready to open door to expedite their service. Dear Brick:. If you want to convince customers that you're providing premium delivery service, your words not mine, and that you provide good service then it has to be from the moment I walk in your store all the way to receiving items. This was not a good experience. We'll see how customer service does when I follow up. By the way, I have never done an online review but they were so sincere in the store and wanted an online review that I decided since it was so good in-store that I would follow up.
Osama was extremely helpful while assisting us to compare pricing, quality and comfort for the packages that we liked best. His professional and knowledgeable manner was supportive, without feeling pressured to purchase. We were extremely satisfied with the service excellence that we received with our browsing, purchase, detailed explanation of warranty, and options today.
Last night, after completing much on-line research about a new washing machine, decided upon The Brick not b/c of $price but b/c of delivery option available. Upon arrival, went right to appliance dept and found 1 model we were considering. Within a few minutes, Rep Bryan J came over to ask if we needed assistance. He was very calm & low key and began answering questions about 2 models we had researched. He explained the key differences & when we explained our "wants/needs", did not try to "up sell" or "cross sell" us on different brands/models/$costs. Now, this was a surprising & appreciated approach. Bryan was very friendly & informative, especially with regard to The Brick's optional extended warranty. Tough experience with them….I had purchased all appliances and a mattress for new house, no issues with Frank, he was great and responsive…the mattress was flawed, I went through the online submission for defective products pics, explanations, etc, with no response. I emailed the store on several occasions, the only response i received was to redo my online ticket, which I did….I further called and they kept passing on the message to customer service to contact me to deal with faulted mattress, still nothing…..I wouldn’t expect much post sale support, as I have been stuck with a useless bed in storage for over a year…Had just spent north of $20K on appliances with them a month prior as well, my mistake.
Great buying experience , delivery not so much. S.D came in to my house and instantly said my couch would not fit and wasn’t even going to try stating my ceilings are to low 99” the couch was 103” he stated , big mistake on my part was believing him the couch in fact was 96” , went to the brick to explain what happened that same day and all I got was sorry!! Took a half day off work unpaid for this. Still waiting for delivery date also looked in to the delivery app only to find my signature forged!!!
I bought a couch in May, I loved the look of it and it fit perfectly in my space. Come June the couch was starting to pill and got worse as the weeks went on. Come August I finally put a request for repair in because the piling was so bad it looked like I’ve had the couch for years. The top of the back cushions started to deflate as well, the quality of the couch was just terrible. Someone came inspect the couch in beginning of August and they said it was just normal wear and tear but he will put in a request for repair and see what the brick says. I don’t see how this would not be considered defective as a 4 month old couch should not look like this from light sitting for an hour or two a night. Anywho middle of September I still hadn’t heard anything back about what was happening so I called to follow up. At first they said they had no record of any claim from me but after speaking to the supervisor they “found it” and can see the parts I’m assuming new cushion covers had been ordered and would be arriving in 4-6 weeks. It has now been well over 6 weeks and no one has contacted me to update me on the status or when and if my repair is happening. They don’t care after they take your money from you. Additionally - the Brick has a price adjustment policy within 90 days when using Flexiti. I noticed the couch was on sale for $600 less than what I paid for it but I had purchased it 92 days ago. I reached out to see if they could still honour this adjustment given the issues with the quality of couch. They said no because it was over. I would never purchase from the Brick again and would encourage you to not as well.
