A good place for those who are looking clothes, utensils, home goods, electronics, stationary and many more in good price. Most of the things are second hand and sometimes you might find new stuff. The prices are comparatively low as compared to other stores. It’s a huge store and you may find variety of stuff. The staff working there are nice, kind and helpful.
The shoe prices at this location is ridiculous. Last time I went in to pick up a pair of used Nike running shoes for my wife she runs and hikes a lot so we usually buy used shoes since she goes through them quite a bit and was stopped at checkout by the cashier short bob haircut that wears glasses because she wanted to “double check” the price probably thought that it was priced too cheap. She came back saying that the price was “okay” and didn’t apologize for the wait and inconvenience - I’m spending more than $50 at this store and they have the audacity to treat their paying customers like this. A tip for future buyers, any pair of shoes that is less than $14.99, keep in mind that you will be stopped at the checkout due to reasons such as they think you switched the price tag or simply because it’s priced too cheap on the item that they GOT FOR FREE.
Friendly, helpful staff and lots of options! I bought many pieces for my partner, and was able to exchange within 14 days after trying for the fit. As a value member, even though I left my receipt at home, the staff member was able to print out my receipt.nnYou get a 20% off coupon for first $50 spent in a transaction if you donate donate. Only 1 coupon per donation, no matter how many items you contribute, so if you have time you can donate on multiple visits to get more coupons. Coupons can be used at all Value Villages. But I have no time anyways to do that, and I actually don't mind paying full price to support the business, because the price is already so good!nnI've gotten designer dresses, coats and other clothes that would cost hundreds new at retail, at a fraction of the cost.nnMy tip is that you wear thin base layers when you go, like a spaghetti strap tank top and leggings, so that you can try on the clothes on top of your clothes. There aren't any changing rooms, only a few full length mirrors.nnOr buy pieces and go home to try. No returns allowed however, only exchanges!nnThank you Value Village for providing this affordable, sustainable option for shopping in a world of fast fashion. I really appreciate the work that you do and how you help me reduce my carbon footprint while staying chic and frugal! Lots of love and appreciation to the Value Village team.
As if doing THEIR job ringing in your items isn’t bad enough, you also have to wait in a queue because most checkouts are closed.nWhat a disgrace.
Amazing, stupendous store. They didn’t let me use the bathroom so I had to go across the street to the gas station. Good inventory of vinyl records, even found some Laserdiscs which I did not expect to bring home in my suitcase. Other than that, the inventory was good, plenty of space to walk around at the late hour I got there, and I believe the self checkout machines worked on the day I was there.
