I rarely go to Costco because I don’t really need to make huge hauls. But one day I had some time and was servicing my vehicle.nnI went to the food department and decided to try out their chicken salad. It looked delicious and I was very happy my expectations were met.nnCan’t wait to try out some other prepped items in the grab and go section. Warning and a heads up for others. This location in Richmond is crazy busy. Parking is horrendous. People leave their carts everywhere. Samples are taken by vultures. Whenever there’s a Pokémon release it’s all hands on deck.nnThe Kirkland brand K cups are surprisingly very good! It pays to be an Executive Member to take advantage of the savings.nnI prefer the Burnaby or Downtown location instead.
Came in today to get some flowers for Valentine’s day. The roses are really bad even just gentle touches. The petals even fell down on my cup of water without touching. If the flowers are that old, just don’t sell it. I will definitely return if my house is near costco. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. I have been a royal customer, but their flowers recently are really bad. This is not the first time experiencing this. Wont buy them ever again.
I’m deeply disappointed with the staff’s attitude at this store, specifically in the clothing section and sample station, not the cashiers or general helpers.nIn the clothing section, an attendant folds clothes with a reluctant attitude, hard to tell if is a he or she no name tag. He or she mumble under their breath when I pass by, which feels rude and unwelcoming.nOn May 5th, around 7 PM, I lined up for mango smoothie or yogurt samples. I was last in line, and they ran out. My child wanted one, so I stepped aside to wait for more. Another customer started a new line, and others joined. After waiting, I took a sample when available, but a woman in the new line became furious, accusing me of cutting the line and taking her sample. I offered her mine to resolve the issue, but she kept yelling in punjbhindi? and rallied others to accuse me too. The staff nearby saw everything but didn’t intervene or clarify that I was in the original line, leaving me feeling unsupported. Should I have blocked the hallway to hold my place?nThe lineup here is always bad too
Keep in mind, parking at this location is almost always horrible. Show up early, or super late! Don't go midday, especially on a weekend. The employees there are all pretty nice, but the crowd in Costco Richmond is always rough.nnPosting all recent meat prices for anyone interested!
A lot of things for us to buy. Very good price.
