This Clinic has a unique system for walk-in patients. You arrive before opening lining up outside. Upon entrance you are given a number, you will be helped in order.nThe nurse will call you up to the desk have your health care card ready to state your issues that need to be attended to.nYou will then sit down and wait to be called by the doctor.nnVery efficient system. They only have so many walk in appointments per day so arrive early.nnThere is a coffee shop and a pharmacy right next door to take care of you while you wait and fulfill your prescriptions.
today at 3:45 pm I had little else to do so I thought I would call Valleyview Treatment Centre. After listening to elevator music for nearly an hour I got to be caller # 1. I started off as caller # 4. Then I figured soon I would speak to a person but guess what the system produced a busy signal end of story. Tomorrow I will go in person and book a appointment.
Was just on hold since 330 today and they just disconnected me. I was the first in queue for almost 20 minutes.nThey need a different phone system. This is absolutely getting ridiculous. I had stitches removed this morning and then left the clinic and started to bleed so I need to talk to my doctor and then they just disconnect
I am new to the area and have a high functioning autistic disorder with a side of ADHD and just because I look like a duck and talk like a duck doesn’t mean I am a duck I walk into the clinic asking questions. The nice girl was helping me and I told her I couldn’t go anywhere else but somewhere close too hard for me to try to find places without having panic attacks and a Karin that works there decides to start talking to me like I’m too and put me into a panic mode and I start crying what great systems we have nowadays
Dr Kapongo doesn't seem to take me seriously. I have an array of issues that need to be dealt with but he brushes me off. Ive been trying to get him to refer me to a podiatrist and he refuses. I have major issues with my feet and have tried all kinds of topical applications. I was there when a fill in dr was there and he said about the issue I went with that I had to keep an eye on it and if the prescribed meds didn't work it was a more troubling issue. The next time I went Kapongo shrugged it off as nothing but the issue persists and is very uncomfortable. It's been one thing after another with him. The ONLY upside is that if I take a whole day off work I can walk in to the clinic and possibly see my own dr the same day.
