The doctor was very good, removed a kidney stone. Nurses before and after the procedure were great. They were extremely attentive and always asking if I needed anything and kept me informed of the time as the doctor was behind. The person doing the anesthetic was letting me know about the procedure they would be doing. Have not gotten bill, but I am sure the price is the same as it would be at every other hospital.

Had our first visit to the Kent ED the other night when our 18 month old fell and split his forehead open and needed stitches. The staff were all amazing (Ed-RN, Cheryl-NP, and Dr. Vesco to mention a few). We were in and out within 35 minutes and treated great. Well done UH!

2nd visit to ER in less than a year. Both times from fall injuries. The first visit the MD never even examined me aent me home with a worthless medication. 2nd visit again visible bruising and swelling and trouble walking. Yep...they said Ibuprofen. I had already been doing that at home.

Wish there was a option for negative ratings because this place definitely qualifies. The service sucks, all the doctors are quacks, and you'll die in the waiting room way before they are even ready to see you.

Lack of facilities and care. My wife was writhing in pain from surgery there the day before. Took an hour to get back to room. They said there were three being discharged and one waiting. In the room, the aide did not know how to operate or the automatic bed or was broken. Another aide came in to attach the vitals machine and it did not work. Many rooms were not in use. It took another half hour to see a nurse who said there was nothing that could be given for nausea (wrong) and a shot for pain would only lady an hour. We decided to leave as who knows how long that would taken because a doctor had to see her first. Wish we had read these reviews first but since the surgery was at the main hospital it seemed to make sense to go to the hospital where the surgery took place.
